koh tao was awesome it was hard to leave that island but we had to move of and next stop was koh phangan famous for its full moon partys and half moon partys and if u can see the moon have a party! we decided to treat ourselves here cos we were both shattered after slumming it for nearly six weeks, so we booked into the bay view resort on haad yao beach we went all out and got a suite looking over the beach with a massive bed satellite tv and air con it was lush ...

We got a good deal to get to koh tao from bangkok we got the overnight sleeper train and a/c coach and hi speed catamaran to the island for just over 1000baht each around 14 quid! koh tao is beautiful its beaches are pure white sand and the sea is light blue and crystal clear even when it gets really deep! the first couple of days here we met up with a few friends from back home it was pretty crazy seeing them so far away from home but we soon got over that thogh...

Trang was our next destination, from there we would catch a longtail boat from the dock to take us to koh sukorn island, it was devastated by the tsunami a few years ago but has a little resort still standing which is only used by intrepid. we would stay on sukorn for the first night this turned out to be a very messy night a few of us had taken some booze over from the mainland cos its cheaper and a full scale party erupted, funny nite as u can see from my dodgy...

so for our first night in krabi we were to stay in another homestay with a muslim family on a rubber plantation? to be fair the whole group wasnt really looking forward to this, it didnt sound very exotic or appealing and we all had a vision of being frog marched to a cold damp dark dungeon by men in turbans with machine guns to make fake nike t-shirts and cheap footballs for the krabi tourist trade! it ended up being a really nice nite and the family made us rea...

After our overnight train to surat thani we headed for koh sok national park where we would be staying for the next four days, for the first two nights we would be stopping on rafthouses in the middle of a massive lake surrounded by rainforest. this place was stunning as u can see from the photos, we were surrounded by all types of monkeys, gibbons and eagles and stuff and loads of lizards who liked to sllep in our warm rom with us at night. it is one of the olde...
