We took a train into Hamburg to go stand-up paddling and this was one of our stops along the way. The Central Station is HUGE and absolutely breathtaking. Much like the majority of Germany, the architecture is almost ancient which makes it even more of a sight to see. There are trains coming in and out all the time which makes for a very diverse population and some of the most interesting people. One woman came up to Simon as we were standing waiting and either asked for money or food, I am not entirely sure which word in German she used. This is also where we stopped to grab a little snack. There are bakeries EVERYWHERE! Which is awesome because German bread is to die for delicious.
