It hasn't been snowing in Fordingbridge! It has everywhere else but not here, like usual, always going to school when everyone is off! It is so annoying! It is so cold but not quite snow temperature, so I am glad everything is going okay and I hope you are still having fun. I am writing to you in your room because we have moved it into here while the carpet is going in the spare room. OH MY GOD, HOW JELOUS AM I!!!!!????!!! I sooooooo wish that i had taken a gap year now (instread of going straight into uni) you have def got the right idea!!!!! At the mo im struggling through my dissertation and anything to distract me is great, but now im day dreaming of where i would have liked to go - the pics and enteries look amazing. Long time no speak, Sorry that you have had a lower patch, hopefully you have caught up on your sleep now. All the experiences you are having will help to make you appreciate how lucky we all are with our nice houses with central heating etc. I have been on snow watch..what a waste of time that was! We had nothing worth talking about. Adam was working in a village called Shrewton ( other side of Salisbury) on Feb 9th and found snow , he made a 50cm snow man using bits of plumbing equipment for eyes etc......will he ever grow up!!!! He used a poo pipe ( his words not mine) to make him a hat. He has now saved the picture of the snow man and his snow man friend ( his work mate who is 23years old also made one) as a screen saver on the computer. Sadly Adam had a car accident the other week, he was not injured at all and luckily no other vehicle was involved.The Fiesta is a write off. He tried to avoid a prat running across the road in the dark on a bend coming down from Sandy Ball's . The police said thank goodness he wasn't speeding or the circumstances would have been different. Can you believe Josh is going to be 15 on Monday. It only seems like yesterday that your mum was making play doh for him and Megan to play with. Brian and I went to the Burgate black tie do that other night with some friends ( we know how to live). It was to celebrate 50 years of the school. Mrs Nicholls was in her element receiving all of her guests. She must of changed her outfit at least twice....like a super star at an award ceremony. We all found it very amusing. Anyway enough of my waffle. Keep safe and keep smiling, you are making some amazing memories. xx

Hey Mat! Wow! It looks fantastic and it's a great way to keep in touch - far better than a postcard! Don't worry about the freezing temperatures - you're about to enter an Australian summer - and, from what I can remember, it's like opening an oven door and being hit by the heat! oi mysery cheer up God you seem worse than me on holiday! You email to sarah made me laugh ' the food here is ok. The meat is disgusting....' I cant remember the rest. Dont worry about missing the snow It didn't snow at all in fordingbridge. Also pretty much everyone is getting ill in england i think ive got farangitus Ha!!! Matt, the trip sounds and looks amazing!!! I love the picture of you holding that little local boy up, it is so sweet. Are you still with him??? How old are they??? Hello, This is my first message so don't really know what to say, have read all your journal entries and it sounds amazing. I love the photo's of you with the elephant and the giraffe! Wish I was there! Not a lot has happened here much the same as normal really just without you! Hopefully moving in the week begining the 12th of Feb (but I wont hold my breath)! Will be keeping Sarah busy helping with the decorating!! Don't worry though I'm planning on wallpapering my room again so will still have something for you to do when you get back!! HEE HEE! Hi Mat....you should have taken a coat ! See...Mum is always right !! Sorry we missed your call, I presume Sarah is coming over on Wednesday night, so if you call then you should get all of us. I hope your sleep tonight is a bit warmer and you actually manage to get some....your schedule says 'time to catch up on some sleep' now you know why.
