Perfect way to celebrate your excitement of departing our shores and heading off into the wide world for fun and frolics in the eastern depths of the earth. As a great traveller once said, departing is the easy part, finding your way back home is the tricky bit. After unearthing some forbidden treasure in the undergrowth and viewing its splendour in awe, the small man said "if this is only the beginning, what more exotic fantasticals will I find on my journeys?", and so he ventured into the unknown, with only a small bag to his person. The excitement and curiosity drove him to places he'd only dreamed about, only to find that what laid there was beyond his wildest dreams. And so, with a quick flutter of a birds wings, he was off again, in search of enlightenment. He was one with the world, and the world was one with him. On his return home, he came across an old wise man, who warned him of flash floods and monsoons. Joking with the old man, he laughed and said that he was ready to face whatever was in front of him, and so he carried on his way. Sure enough, the wise man was right, and he encountered several floods, and witnessed some terrible tragedies. Stopping to help the innocent victims, he realised that had he listened to the old man, he would have turned back and taken the usual road home, but would never have been there to help the victims. At that point, he realised that by taking the easy route in life, taking the path that guarantees safety, may not always be the most exciting or enlightening one. And so, the man packed his bag, and carried on his travels, not returning home via the beaten track that so many had taken before him. Instead, he took the unknown path, the path of uncertainty and surprise, and he never looked back.
Bon journee mataus, and remember the easy road home.
