Leaving Gualala on a sunny Saturday morning with the coastal mist embracing the coastline was a awesome way to begin our day. This part of California is not what we expected. The closer we got to San Francisco the more cattle ranches we went through. It just seems so rural. So today we played golf in Gualala (pronounce: Wah la la). As I write this last entry I sit in my home gazing out over the smoke filled Okanagan Valley. We began this journey going north through the smoky Chilcotin area of BC. Now that smoke has drifted down the province reminding us how fragile our earth The experience we had these past almost three weeks is difficult process.
