We set off from Freycinet NP and were off to Port Arthur. It wasn't a long trip, just three and a bit hours. We had a great two and a half hour drive from St Helens to Freycinet National Park. Luckily l phoned ahead as it gets booked out quickly and you have to book ahead apparently. We arrived at the visitors information center and booked into Richardson's beach camp site for $15.50 per night. The camp site was beach side but bloody hell the ground was hard and we bent a few pegs pegging the tent down!! We have toilets (flushing which is bonus) and cold showers (argh!)...
