Good grief Danielle, I thought it rained a lot in Plymouth but Laos must beat it .... water and flooding everywhere. How on earth do you dry your washing. Looks a fabulous interesting place though. Lovely to speak to you this morning. Three days and we are off on our travels and can't wait. Lots love Mum x x

Hey guys!
Loving the posts, sounds like you are having an awesome time. Glad to hear you are getting in some adrenalin packed activities to build you up for the NZ bungy!!! Never knew you had it in you Dan, but then just being able to manage without a hair dryer and straightners was a big achievement! lol
Keep up the regualr updates, its good to read about what you are up too seeing as though its getting harder and harder for me to anything action packed!
Look forward to the next installment.

I am so pleased that you told me the perils of the tubing and the roads afterwards Danielle. Worry comes with being a mother and I do enough of that now you are so far away but that aside, I'm thrilled you are doing it all and that you now seem to be having a great time. Not enough time and too much to see and do should be the only problem that you have. Not sure about James message about bailing you out!! Fantastic that you are going to spend some time with the elephants. The photos arrived safely and we have already looked at them and am taking the cd out to grandad tomorrow so he can copy them for himself. I think Kevin and Dad would enjoy the local bars at £1 pint - how about it Kev - good idea for a holiday. Trouble is we like our luxury a little bit too much....
Danielle

Hiya sis & martin! hope your both ok! i try not to come on here very often as it makes me so jealous! All of your posts sounds amazing even if the lil chinese ppl were a bit rude. Rosie and I are very jealous of the great wall and terracotta army, me more of the rapids and chillaxing in Laos though : ). Hope your feeling better gotta be worth taking the tablets tho. Cant wait to hear about the rest of the trip im sure the best is still to come with the places you have left! Try to not miss anything you only live once and mum and dad can bail you out after...sorry mum : )! Anyways thought id say hi nothing changes here sleep, work usual good times, booked next yrs holidays already to help get us through the winter...enjoy the freedom and the weather!! keep safe love Rosie & Jim! Ps Cancun was ammmazing seems a life time ago now and all our photos were lost because Rosie and I thought we would have a dip in the lake whilst at a club..camera not so waterproof ha o well! see you soon. xxx o and take lots of pics of the elephants!

I'm thrilled that you now seem to be having fun. Large birds, underground caves and rapids - well Danielle, you are indeed going to be changed when you get home - you are Martin will be hardened intrepid travellers and will be afraid of nothing! Glad to hear your strength is coming back - your body will get used to the pills so keep going. Everyone you speak to who has been travelling always say that Laos is the best and nobody ever wants to leave - a river pub crawl - sounds great fun - perhaps Kev and Jo and Dad and I will have to consider a trip to Laos. Never too old! Hope you manage to secure a visit to the Elephants as I know you very much want to do that. Look after your health and each other. Love you lots. x x x

It was great to see some pictures and to hear you are having a lovely time. Glad to hear you were spoilt on the cruise and are trying the local food. Time is quickly going by so make the most of everything.
We are still working hard and counting the days to our holiday-mums been shopping again!!!!
Tasha and Tom have sold their house this weekend so now they are busy trying to fine another one to buy. The first person who viewed it offered them full asking price. I will also give her your blog sorry keep forgetting.

Hi guys,
It's good to finally see some photos - all be it only a few! The cruise sounds like it was lovely and I bet it made a nice change to some of the hostels you have been staying in. Although they sound horrible I am kind of glad you have been going on these long train journeys as it means you won't moan half as much the next time we get the train to London or somewhere!
