Well after two days of cancelled flights and a very long red eye milk run, we finally escaped the snow and arrived in the sunshine state. FYI the Denver airport sucks! Everything closes at 9:00pm! Even the bars!!! So not the best place to have an 8 hour lay over at night. :( Now the Charlotte and Tampa airports have everything and they are open 24 hours. There is something SERIOUSLY wrong in Denver! Hub my ass!

Tradewinds resort is fabulous! 90% of the guests are from Florida. So that tells you it's a great place. Haven't met any Canadians yet just Wisconsin & Ohio.

Our suite is perfect. Kitchen, living/dining room, balcony and separate bedroom. Beds are heavenly. Overlooks the pool, pirate island and part of the paddle boat river. We can also see the giant beach water slide and the ocean.

The staff are so friendly. I mean genuinely friendly. The bar & restaurant choices are amazing. Everything from a Tiki bar to fine Italian cuisine.

Everything is included except the food and drinks but the prices are fairly reasonable.
