Woke up with a very sore throat and a runny nose, feeling rather groggy. Nonetheless, it hasn't stopped me today from continuing with my sightseeing adventures. I got up really late (about 11am). We had a bit of a lie in (although I woke up earlier because of a pesky c*** that crows outside the hotel from about 5am). It's difficult to get back to sleep because rush hour then starts at 5am and the road outside is mad with Tut Tuts, cars and cabs beeping their horns and revving their engines. Having endured a hellish trip to Heathrow due to a person going under the train on the Piccadilly line, I arrived at Heathrow much later than planned. Check in was fine which was more than can be said for Heathrow's security which to be frank seemed in total chaos. I was running late anyway and I was picked out for a more detailed search of my hand luggage.
