Today is our last day in Sugod before making the 18 hour trip back to Manilla. The last 4 weeks have been much the same as the first with work being secondary to everything else. We arrived at our home for the next couple of months at around 4am and were greeted by Fatima, the 22 year old daughter of our host family. We landed in Manila and followed the instructions from the volunteer organisers to take a taxi to the dorm, which took an hour and a half (the same amount of time it takes me to get from Lichfield to Reading), and we were still in the city!
