Salut!

hello you two. man, you guys need to get this site up to date you slackers. hope you are having a good time in Panama city and met up with the folks from Venao. We are in Bocas still, stayong on ISla Colon, we took a water taxi to Wizard beach yesterday on Bastimentos island. The water was so clear and warm, it was probably the most beautiful beach ive ever seen, except for Perranporth ofcourse, and Gwenver. We are hoping to go there to surf tommorrow as theres some swell expected. We cant sell our boards here so looks like weve got to battle with the airport staff to let us off the fees. take care my lovelies xx

So, i'm not sure what its like in the rest of cornwall but the stories from perranporth are all of two solid months of perfect 3-5 ft glassy waves, early spring sunshine and an abnormally early warming up of the water resulting in near tropical surfing every day. I won the lottery and am now just kicking back, surfing every day and doing some art. The council have decided that coucil tax was actually a bit of a joke after all, and has decided to rebate all our money for the last few years meaning that our rent is now covered for the next decade. With the spare change I went out and brought myself a shiny new pickup truck. Its so warm at the moment i occasionally go out and sleep in the back under the stars. Next door to us they've just kicked the pikeys out and have rented the place to playboy magazine. They've put in a pool and a jacuzzi (which they've said we can use whenever we like). I was unsure at first what with all the naked women strewn around everywhere but I soon got used to it. Turns out those girls are happy to share everything, and I've popped over on many late nights to borrow a cup of sugar. A few of the girsl are budding authors and are writing books on various things, from apartheid to genetics so the conversation sometimes goes on late into the night. Anyways, enough of our miserable materialistic existance here in Kernow, how things in the bottom of the world living out of a napsac? hope you are both well and the sea ulcers aren't bothering you too much. chrisx

Hello Mark and Lilly. You're not missing much here. Apart from this ere sea badger flu. It came from France they say and humans can catch it but only if you have sexual relations with the critters.
Looks like you had some nice surf. Go to playa Venado on your way down to Panama city , its near Las Tablas and it's great. Also in Panama city I thought the best hotels were in the casco viejo. There's waves there too. Have a lovely time in Peru.

Blustery wind, torrential rain, dark evenings and freezing cold. We're so glad we're here in the UK and not out there in that awful sun with you two!
Great to keep up with your adventures...excellent pictures. Keep having fun.
Love,
Nikki & Declan.

That's fortunate just thought I'd check on your site for any updates and you did it yesterday, cool! IT'S SPRING TIME! I went for my first evening surf last week in a glassy Harlyn 3ft bliss, although I still needed a hood for the paddle out. Have just got back from Helman Tor and you could see the whole of Mid Cornwall whilst soaking up the sun and breathing in the vanilla aroma from the flowering gorse. I feel like I've come out of hibernation, I'm buzzing with the prospect of the spring season's sunny sessions that await.
Sounds and looks like you're catching some cruisy tepid tubes around central America. Need some reviews of waves and cultural sites so we at home have somewhere to add to the list. Glad to see Mark hasn't shaken his haole ways by cutting himself on his own board. I reckon a French surfer slagging Israeli attitudes in the water is a bit rich, but I guess Lily can claim Celtic qualities.
Anyways both of you, keep it moist and be happy. Big Cornish Lovin XX
