Oh dear - hangover day! We had to leave the Cranky Croc as we didn't reserve a room and it was full. We headed to Fatimas, a pretentious place where no one talks to each other. Cor blimey we are off to Bogata the capital of Columbia. We took the easy option of getting a taxi to the bus terminal. We literally put our bags on the pavement outside the terminal when a local asked where we were going. He pointed at a bus driving out of the terminal (Bogata bus). This being a very local town was confirmed when we tried to find a vegetarian breakfast. We walked around one of the squares but ended up being greeted into a small cafe overlooking another square. We explained that we were vegetarian but this did not deter the owner from offering us some chicken. We said we didn't want meat in Spanish. She offered us potatoes, but this also turned out to contain meat. I spotted roasted potatoes and asked to have those instead....

Time is starting to look tight, with a heavy heart we packed our bags for departure. However we had a growing optimism that Columbia has many more wonders awaiting us.
