Next stop we joined 8 other people and hired a 4x4 to explore Fraser Island. Was weird being with so many people again. Our group was really nice though with only one guy with a questionable driving licence!! We saw the most amazing lakes including lake Mckensie with sand so white you can wash in it. Driving on the beach was an experience, the car has a mind of its own no matter how slow you go. Saw a dingo and lots of birds but stayed clear of any marine life because of the deadly fire weed which give 3rd degree burns if you touch it.
