We have a new baby granddaughter, Daisy May, and that's about the most interesting thing that's happened since you left. Not much happening on the diving front. Will miss the Red Sea trip this year, we will be in Alaska!
Hoping to go to Stony Cove with Gretta in August so she gets some practice before her hols. She is tearing about all over the place as usual! Have been to Spain twice and over to see my sister in America. She is having a very bad time at the moment, her son died recently.

Hi you intrepid travellers. At long last I have found the time to sit down and send you a message. We were without Internet for two months. Long story but after much technical adjustment,telephone calls, Tiscali blaming BT, BT blaming Tiscali, BT were forced to send out an engineer. It took him all of a coulple of minutes to diagnose a software fault at the exchange. Everyone is fine here. My new promotion is going well. I had my first appraisal recently and got a tick, vg, star, so that's good. We are just putting finishing touches to our new conservatory which is, as Ann suggested when I told her, "the dogs'". Can't wait to get the furniture in! We have booked our own trip to NZ next Easter to see Kate, Geoff and Emily. We need to see her before she forgets what we look like! Web cams are ok but not the same as the real thing. After much disappointment and money worries it looks as if Ellen might have finally found an affordable shop for her new Beauty therapy business. I hope it all works out for her. Claire and Harry have moved in with Claire's chap Ian. I think you met him before you went away. It all seems to be going well. Harri is happy at school and continues to be a little character. Your photos look amazing; you're obviously having a great time. love Delia and John

hi nanny and grandad,hope u r both well.i got back from mill rythe yesterday i went for the weekend wiv nanny + grandads + my great uncle john who has come over from oz he went there 38 yrs ago and its his 1st time back here.whilst i was away finn fell over sat + smashed his mouth up,2 of his teeth r wobbly now + mite fall out the dentist said + he had 2 av his chin glued!! clumsy! then mum fell down on sat nite + has torn ligaments in her ankle ,her own fault 4 bein drunk!but i had lots of fun in the swimming pool + am nice + BROWN ! only another 2 wks til we go oh hols again!!have a nice time finishin oz,love keelyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

g'day denise and mark. i have finely worked out how to get into "off exploring". great photos! makes us miss you even more. we have managed to slow down the drinking a bit since you left. ray has found it the hardest. we shall have another grandchild in july. amazing isn't it? we now have a fence built around the house area to protect the littles blighters from going down the dam etc. enjoy the rest of your trip. hope hayley recovered well after her op. shall see you in a few short years in england. love ray, maureen and plenty kids/in-laws/grandkids. xxxxxxxx

Hi M & D Good to see you are still having fun. Love the teddy bear too. Not much news from our end. Just been up to Stoney Cove for the Bank Holiday weekend and well lets just say you didnt miss much. It was absolutely heaving, all car parks were full and people were parked in the road too. Viz was s***e too. I am starting to get into training and took my first Ocean Diver trainee which was scary but good. Glad to see you are getting the odd cheeky dive in too. You will have to tell Hayley to bring Sacha and Shauna up the pool as we havent seen them for ages. Matt still brings little Rhys now and again. Oh well best had sign off as I am at work.
