Keep having fun!! you are having a wonderful year! Our eldest son left this weekend for another year's backpacking, and, what with the younger ones away studying, and our daughter in Australia, we have immediately become Empty Nesters - after 28 years!! Crikey!

Hi Mark and Denise
great to see you are still having fun and getting around the world. The photo's look great and all of the free time seems to be suiting you. As you can see from cara's message we have recently returned from the Red Sea and the club trip. I managed to get Emma through the Ocead diver before the trip and she came. It was a fantastice experience for both her and me. She is a good little diver and as good on air as me!! If she keeps it up she could catch Peter Smith up in a year or two. I must say that diving with Emma gave me so much more pleasure than usual. It was great to be able to share the underwater world with her. The snorkeling and diving with the dolphins was really icing on the cake and Emma was actually crying with happiness at one stage. The club is going strong and we are getting to the end of another season of diving and training. We have a couple of Ocean divers to finish off and some Sports divers but most should get through. Shelagh is off at the moment on another Red Sea trip and I got a text the other day saying that she had just done the southern plateau of Elphinestone down to the archway at 58M!! Back in basingstoke work is calling and the next dive trip is a way off yet. Anyway keep up the postings and looking forward to seeing you around xmas time.

Hi M & D
Just come back from the annual club holiday to Egypt. This year we went to El Gouna which is about 20 minutes away from Hurghada. There were about 32 people which included about 6 non-divers. It was great, especially the last dive of the trip I acheived my lifelong ambition and dived with dolphins. There was a pod of about 7 or 8 and swam around the group for about 5 minutes and then dissapeared to where they came from - most excellent. Also this year we did the touristy bit and visited Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. This was great but a long and tiring day. Also went for a small boat trip on the River Nile. Crammed alot in this year but well worth the trip. Of course it wasnt the same without you. Looking forward to seeing you when you return. What colour will you have your hair Denise?! Lots of Love Stu & Cara

Hi you 2 nutters, I take it from your pic that you are not really relaxing. If you not bike riding then you are climbing bridges or mountains. Those little legs will be even smaller when you return to the UK. We are off to France in the morning so I have sent you a big mess on email for you both to read. Love the dog pic.Is that Jean & Petes? Sorry to Stu & Cara but have been so hectic I will try to get up the club again on my return. Went up the other month but really empty. I will send loads of pics by email on return from France so keep a look out. We have been out bike riding with the girls & day trips to the zoo etc & rest of the time visiting family & friends. Catch up again soon
Love ya
