Hi guys, Happy belated New Year, you know me always last to get the message out. Work is manic but just thought I'd check out what you two have been up to and WOW I am so not jealous!!!!! Nige and I have just returned from Sharm (yes again) it was a surprise for his 50th (now everyone knows yippee), we had our own little adventure on quads and camels but nothing to touch what you two are experiencing. Bet you can't wait to come back to the gloomy UK, by the way it is officially the gloomiest January for decades. I hope you are keeping safe but meeting lots of wonderful new friends. I promise to check in again soon as I am constantly wondering where you are and what other mad extreme sports you are tackling now. Bye for now Caz and Nige

Hi Mark and Denise
new photo's look great! You really are getting round. The ice was a bit of a surprise though. Mark looks as if he is letting himself go a little though. He really does need a shave!! Life her is fine and the dive club is still going although down a little in numbers. We have the AGM at the new pub with a skittles night. Now starting to plan the dive trips for 2006 and can not wait to get to the sun.
Take care Mark

The adventure looks great - the weather may not be brilliant but it is probably not as grey and depressing as it is here! I like the look of the whale watching, I have always wanted to see them. You have fuelled the desire for a break from the British winter so some travel (and diving) to the Red Sea looks on for next month if I can talk some others into it. Can't quite manage the southern hemisphere for a week! I like the beard Mark, is this part of going native?

Well I bet you are saying about bloody time. This is the first time I have logged on to your website because I am a div but had a good look at all the piccies and what a wonderful time you seem to be having. It is just incredible that you have been gone 2 months already where does the time go. You seem to have done so much while we are all left behind slaving away in our boring jobs. Have read the e mails from Jackie and hopefully she will be meeting up with you at some point. I bet the old luv bus is getting a bit of a hammering (no I mean getting lots of miles in) not what you thought haha!!!!! I have forgotten what your itinerary is because it was too much to take in before you left. I would be interested to know where you are going next and so on. Well happy campers hope you are both keeping well and take good care of yourselves.
Love Kay and Danny

Hi Den and Mark
Happy New Year! The South island looks great and it really looks as if you are getting into the tramping lifestyle. Don't overdo it though at your age you should be starting to take it a bit easier! Today was the first day back at work and boy was it a hard day. getting out of bed was tough enough. It would be so nicer to just unzip a tent and walk to the beach eh. Well you are living a dream that a few of us have. When is the next diving trip then? I don't expect I will get in the water until April or May unless I get that trip to sudan in April. Christmas and new year was nice at home with the kids, Caroline and the dog (Lilly) She is settling in well and apart from being a little smelly and dropping presents all over the place quite nice. I still would rather not have a dog but then hey you have to let them have their way every now and then just so you can have your way more often. It is back to the pool this Friday for some rescue practice and then a couple of weeks brushing up the skills of some of the other divers. Do keep up the photo's and trip reports as they do get read. Take care Mark x
