Arrived in Auckland about a week ago and spent a few days there staying with some friends that live out here, I am now in Paihia in the Northlands where we are at last getting some good weather again after suffering the rain in Auckland and along the Garden route in SA.

I have been in Cape Town now nearly two weeks and am feeling like I am starting to know the place. Meeting loads of new people in the hostel which is great but pretty exhausting as people tend to move on after a couple of days and then you get to start all over again with the new crowd. Here I am in Cape Town, several weeks ahead of schedule, as I decided that I had done quite enough of my overlanding trip. Cape Town is F**king amazing, there\'s loads to do and the weather\'s is fantastic. I even saw a commercial being filmed in the street today. Life is good.

Since my last postcard, I have travelled from Addis Ababa in Ethiopia through Kenya to reach Uganda, and on Xmas day we travelled to the Congo for the day Gorilla trekking and then returned to Uganda, which is where I am right now.
