Am overwhelmed at all the blessings poured upon me yesterday! Thank you for all your lovely birthday wishes!
I woke up overlooking the lake from my chalet, already satisfied but the blessings continued! At breakfast, open restaurant overlooking the lake, I was greeted with a resounding chorus of Happy Birthday & the other tourists all joined in. The Africans looked at us like we were all crazy (very astute observation!) The guy from the gift shop gave me a lovely bracelet!
I spent the morning relaxing in delightful company in the splendor of God's creation. Then at lunch I was surprised with a lovely big cake which had arrived on a truck that morning from Kabale with Happy Birthday Maria written in the icing. Awwwwww.
In the afternoon we all went out on long boats around all the islands learning7 the very interesting history...
like Punishment Island, where girls who get pregnant outside marriage were taken & tied to a tree and left to die...anyway, must go! Love to u all! xxx
