THIS TOWN IS AMAZING!!!! My favorite little town so far on the French Med. This town is in the top 5 for small towns, it is a close race between this and Ribadeo in the north of Spain. Will visit this place again!

Marseille is a great city by the sea. A little dirty, but any town that has the harbor at the center of attention is a favorite in my book. Not only is the harbor the center, but there is a huge hill nearby to get a good view which I always love. This is a town to visit again, maybe arriving by boat.

What a cool old city by the Rhone. The town market at the main street cut off, but the back alleys were great to ride through. Narrow narrow narrow.

1/4/07 Nimes, France Finally warm weather again or rather I should say warmer weather! As I got closer to Avignon the weather changed and my heart lifted, I could sense the sea not to far away. It is funny how my body has a physical reaction to getting close to the sea. I left yesterday morning under an overcast sky and rain in the air.
