(not that im counting or anything!) my birhday is one the 13th may, so if you could be in sydney for that, that would be amazing, we can celebrate me being 25 in style!!!!

Hello Guys

Sorry I've not been on for a while but been busy trying to earn a crust to pay the mortgage and failing miserably.  Haven't been around on a Sunday for a few weeks either for a variety of reasons ranging from playing hockey, to being out watching hockey to being at Rachel's mum and dads.  Also won't be on this weekend as playing hockey again - top of the league and on a cup run, so two games this weekend.  Doesn't matter how old you are you never get tired of winning - just need to surround yourself with young people who can run all weekend and give them the ball.  Would probably still find it difficult if it wasn't for super fitness and Lucozade Sport.

Work wise things are going ok(ish) - new home page if you want to check it out www.lookupsport.com and the hit rate is going up all the time - if only we were making money life would be good.

Rachel has settled in to her flat now and even has lights a tv and somewhere to sit.  We are off to a Tory-Boy dinner this Friday (which should be fun!), so staying in Beverley Sat night, and then have a nest of flat pack tables to put together so that Rach has somewhere to put her glass of wine/bottle of stella in the evenings.  She is in Westminster this week shadowing the London guy, and also has a leadership course for 2 days (God help us all!) - can't wait for her to try out her new found skills at the weekend as she directs the build of the tables.

Must be good being in OZ as they get stuffed by GB at Rugby League despite a couple of well directed punches and elbows - (although not so good that they won the ICC trophy).  Let's hope they have a nightmare Ashes series otherwise you might fancy leaving a little earlier than planned.  Can't think of anything worse than being surrounded by Ozzies who are winning, no matter how many "cold ones" you've drunk.

Spoke to mum at the weekend who said your lorry load of stuff had arrived.  It might be cheap buying suits in Asia but money not so well spent if you put on weight before you get back or soon after you get back - and you are at that age now when it just suddenly appears...

Right off to do some work and plead with the bank manager some more.

hello the epic explorers!   the saving's going fantastically well thanks, my mum just said she was chucking in £500 for the saving , so there's half my flight paid for. went through with stuuy about money put into your natwest account, and sorry dude but it's there and tracable the second payment went in on august, so if you were expecting more, then you're out of luck! those £50 monthly payments have now been used to fund my flight, but if you get a bit skint, ask all thses lovely people on here, and i'm sure someone well send you some dosh. do you want me to put an advert in the back of "private eye", or are you ok for a bit?

let me know when your visa runs out in australia, and i'll meet you inThailand. Stuuy and Kate want to come too for a little holiday!  Kate's well up for it, and so's stuuy (he just doesn't know it and won't admit it)

If you can get to the cinema go and see that Borat film it's the funniset thing i've ever seen! (apart from the time when tony was dancing like a beejee with a police woman in chaos and fell over and bust his knee)

Well, what can I say? Nothing that Mand hasn?t already methinks. I?ve put two, yes TWO new postcards on. Ok they?re only a month or so late but hey?

As Mand said getting on MSN and the Internet in general is virtually impossible now we?re pikeys and we?re 8 hours in front. Stupid daylight saving. If we can we will still be on on Sundays so tune in if you?re about. You never know.

As for phone calls our amazing international phone card is supposed to charge us 50 cents for the connection then the call is free. However there seems to be some sort of camping tax in place on camp site and hostel phones. The last call we tried to place cost us 2 dollars a minute and cut us off when we didn?t pay it. Sorry Stu xxxxx

But we will try and phone a few people this weekend (if we can find a phone that won?t rob us ? I?ve got a nasty feeling it only works in cities) so keep your ears pinned back. As for phoning us, feel free to rack up your phone bills as much as you want, it doesn?t cost us anything :o) just remember that we?re 8 hours in front and in bed most nights by about 10 o?clock. Country air and all that. But we are up about 7 at the latest. It?d be especially good to hear from the technologically inept Tone.

Enough of the general chit chat cos Mand has finished and my fingers are going flat from all the typing I?ve been doing today so I?ll just say laters peeps and love you all more than seeing whales and dolphins and various kinds of roadkill xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hey Everyone,

 sorry haven't been on in a while but seen as though I am now officially a pikey living out the back of my car (i'm not even a posh pikey with a caravan) it's a bit trickier to get internet access.  So we are currently on the most South Westerly point of Western Australia at a place called Cape Leeuwin. It's very pretty and has a lighthouse.  Since leaving Perth last week we have seen Dolphins, Whales, Lizards, lots of roadkill, a kangaroo, a possom, a huge egg the size of Johnnys head(!), some big trees, a cave and a fair few wineries.  Needless to say we have decided to have a day off from all this sightseeing and catch up with you guys.

Kara - thanks for the haloween pics, they made me laugh.  Make sure you send me pics of your house. That is so cool!!!

happy halloween to you both. hope all is well and your travels around oz are going well. am very jealous oh well only 2 years and 6 months to go untill they will allow me back into oz. its getting a bit chilly here now for my liking keep putting the heating up to full at work and pissing everyone off haha. everyone is like i dont understand how you can be so cold but it is f**king nov now. Been up since %.30 this morning as Danny and i drove Bex to Essex for some training she had to do. Never done the toll tunnel thing at Dartford before....sad sod aint i!!! Drove through 5 counties today and that is as much as my travel goes....see how adventurous you both are!!! hahhahaah

Pearl and Chris organising a big family party in Feb 07....just to get everyone together so we can mingle!! Wont be the same without you both though but never mind im sure we'll have a drink or two and remember you at some stage!
