Hey all,
After leaving you on Thursday i took myself on a mini adventure down to The Rocks in Sydney which is really for me the nicest part. Syndey is massively busy and bustling and not really my cup of tea but once i ventured out it really is beautiful. Sorry Jools i know i promisedd i would hate it, and i would still not pick to live there but it does have its nice spots. The Rocks is where the Sydney Habour Bridge and Opera House s. I took myself on a little walk over the bridge, admitidly not all the way as its huge! It really surreal lookingout and seeing the Opera house, which i must say isnt ans white as it is on the telly, lol.
It still feels really odd that im in Oz but a nice odd.
Well after that i booked a little adventure into the Blue Mountains which is about a 1 1/2 drive from Sydney. Its called the Blue Munitains because of the Ucaliptus (dont know if thats how you spell it) but, they give off a vapour which when the sun shines on it creates the blue haze. It is truely breath taking, although i didnt get to see the blue haze, apparently it is really rare. I went on a 3 hour hike and climb through the rainforest which was beautiful, although the leeches took a bit of a shine to my legs. No snakes and spiders as yet though. We got to see kangaroos and took a ride on the world steepest railway from the top of the Blue Mountains and then the skyway back up. I have loads of pics which i will upload soon as i can, sadly they are all of scenery and will probably bore you silly but they dont do it justice its amazing.
My final night in Sydney i induldged in the night life with Simon's (Rosie's Boyfriend) friend Dan and his friends, which was great, athough i may have had a few too many beverages, i know its hard to believe!! Much dancing like loons and getting the Ozzy's to copy the running man, it filled me full of joy!
Well off to Byron next i have a 12 hours bus journey to look forward to.
Love you all, keep in touch x
