Well here we are in San Francisco and it's my birthday! I celebrated it yesterday as well cos it was my birthday in Australia so I thought what the heck...lets have 48 hours of fun.

It was a long flight but managed to sleep about 2 hours all up I think. There was a bit of a delay in LA Airport so with a twist of the arm we sat at a bar drinking coronas and did they go down a treat. I had only had 2 red wines on the plane so I was in good shape. When we finally got on the plane to San Francisco Mal and I had a bit of a nap. We were all pretty b*****ed by the time we fot to the motel but after a shower we freshedned up for more beers and exploring. We went to happy hour with a few who are on the trip with us. There was Marshall, Scott, TIm, Patirck, Simone, Xavier, Wombat and another but I can't remember his name but I am sure by the end of the trip I'll have all names down pat. We had tea at an Irish pub where we tried a few different ales and after a great meal of pork spare ribs and chips it was time to sing. There was karioke and what was I to do but......well....if only if could sing!!! I sang the gambler with a yank and we had a ball. I had to dedicate it to Pam and Zank!!!!!! Out of control but funny as!!!

Today we are off exploring. Mal is still sleeping at the moment. His pretty b*****ed so I will let him rest just a little bit longer.
