Nice walk last night if not a little scary. A nice local black couple stopped there car to ask if we had seen the three Alligators.They seemed quite excited but they were in a car. On they way back to the car we did see one around 2.5 mt just cruising in the lake about 5 mt. away. This lake Okeechobee is one of the largest lakes in the US. Firstly thanks for all your messages. The idea was to swim in the gulf of Mexico before leaving for the east coast. We were out of the Hotel before 7am and on the beach shortly after but guess what? Decided to drive of the beaten track over to the east coast. Stopped for the night at Clewiston part of which is an Indian reservation. As you can see yet more food. A white fish called a Sway char grilled and delicious.

Thought we would get a taste for Cuba before arrival. Now in Naples on the west coast of Florida having drove from Miami through the Evaglades A really nice drive with no housing or buildings of any kind for 3 hours. Naples is a up-market pristine town with great shops and restaurants. Pics to follow
