So after lazing about it in Nha Trang we headed to the mud springs where we pretty much sat in mud for a while then really hot mineral water. It was actually quite tiring but really good. When we came back we all jumped in the pool! Showered and changed we headed for the train. It's was an overnight train and definitely not as nice as the last one. There were bugs and the sheets had to be changed when we got on because they were used. It was also really bumpy so I had very little sleep! We arrived into Danang and got a bus to Hoi An. In Hoi An we had a free day so Clare and I went to the tailors where she got a dress measured to be made, then we went to the Japanese covered bridge (photo) and explored the old town. I love this town, it's been kept in the old style of streets which is what I would have imagined Asian streets to be like, with the lantern hung above the streets. Later Clare I got cake and it was good because we haven't had it in ages! An early nights sleep was needed. The next day we were up early to do a cycling trip throughout the aurrounding countryside for about 3 hours. We all agreed we needed the exercise!!! It was so good to so something active thought as we haven't done much the last few days. The rest of the day we just walked around the shops. An early night again. This morning we were up early to get a bus to Hue. On the way we stopped at some caves with loads of Buddah statues and other statues cut into the rock. On arrival in Hue we had a tour to pagoda where we saw buddist monks chanting and we learnt about how they live and what they do. After we went to the citadel and the forbidden purple city which was really interesting, unfortunately during the war alot of it was destroyed. There is a massive, really old bonzi tree there! Now I'm just getting an early nights sleep as I have to be up early again for further adventures!!!
