Hey there "girlwhofliesatnight"!! Three entries in one day, you are prolific. your descriptions are lovely and just as I imagined it all. How are you finding your cameras, helpful? You certainly are painting a picture for us to see. Sounds like a lot of travel coming up to get to Athens. I can remember sitting on a beautiful hill at night at the parthenon and overlooking the city, very friendly as I recall. Here is my moment of zen for today, I came home @8pm, nobody here, and looked out the kitchen and there was a gorgeous peacock walking around!! No, I was not on any substance!! It stayed long enough for me to film, because I knew no one would believe me. So, show your feathers girl!! love you, mom
Macks.....I laughed when you mentioned your daily ice cream......and you are right.....dad's pretty funny when he says....."let's go get a 'cream cone'" *laugh*
Love you, and Paris sounds amazing! I loved singing my French songs....everything sounded so much sexier and more eloquent in French....like you said..the little toddler sounds very distinguished when their French....versus..our lil english speaking toddlers.
Loving you

Scrubbs! Prague and Paris eh? Awesome! I love reading all about it.....and also hear your way of describing it! Paris has lots of cobblestone streets doesn't it? I LOVE THAT! Wish we had them here, back in the states.......as you say! *laugh* Luna got another tooth (now up to 10)...a far cry from big bros crocadile mouthful of 20! *laugh* Went on our trip.....2 hrs away for conference....boys did great..and bless Casey.....being the 'mom' for a couple of days. What a MAN! I love that guy! Anyways....love to you, wishing I/we were there to see the rest of the world. Our little world over here seems like nothing in comparison to the rest. We have gotta get over there!
Love you so, Scrubbs!
Sumz, Case and da boys.

Hi sweet peeps! so you are in the city of love! Did you bring your audrey hepburn outfits? Don't forget the moulin rouge and the bohemian life, there are only 4 important things to care about: Beauty, Truth, Freedom, but above all else...Love! We here in the states are certainly sending you all our love and as I drive my "bohemia" this week she will be honoring your journey as well. Does anyone wear berets anymore???? drink in the moment, and have a streetside cafe wine for me too... lovenhugs, moy

doodle, love hearing fom you. what a cool way to keep in touch.
once in a while, stop, spin around and walk backwards....see where you've been.....notice your footprints...... not where you're going...you will view your world (for the moment) differently.
it's like stopping to smell the roses....just a different physical strategy, i guess.

hi mack, i'm so glad you are keeping us posted on your trip, it is very exciting to read and hear about all the great things you are seeing. even if you will be gone for a while...i miss you, but can't wait until you get back! it was fascinating to read about your visit to the anne frank museum and the camps. i taught anne frank/holocaust to my 8th graders this spring and learned so much that i didn't know before. it must have been really moving to see it in person. i hope you are having a great time. i love you!

Hola Mack Attack-- I just remembered that you had this journal thing so that I can basically stalk you while you are far away travelling the world. It sounds like you are having a blast! Well, continue having fun and I will look forward to seeing pictures when you return! PS. Hello to your travel buddies Patrick Jerome and Meghan Charlotte!

Macklen Mayse!
It sounds like you're having a great time over there! Remember this phrase whenever you're in a German-speaking country:
Noch ein Bier, bitte.
Works best in bars and restaurants ; )
Say it, toss down 3 euro, be happy.
See you after 'while!

Hysterical Macks....the gay bar thing, I mean! *laugh* Glad you got to talk to 'B' yesterday! Sounds like Germany is really full of history and emotions. ..I can only imagine. You are so funny...about getting old...and enjoying the 'beer:30' rather than the late nighters. I hear ya. You'll feel much more rested and be able to enjoy more depth of your trip for that! Prague next? Ooohhh...so wish we were going to there for that one...well..many of them...but that one sounds so fun!
We are getting ready to go to my La Leche League conference on Friday..in Columbia. Should be fun, interesting and a bit difficult too (well traveling with the kids, I mean). But nonetheless. Away we go on our "BIG" trip (*laugh*) nothing in comparison to yours! :)
