Hello from Halifax in Nova Scotia!

We left the Banff and the Rocky Mountains behind last week. Had a great time in the Rockies. We hired a car and drove up from Banff via Lake Louise and the Columbia Icefields to Jasper. The drive was great, passing through mountains, valleys, waterfalls and glaciers. It was so strange though to be standing in loads of snow, but yet the sun was out and it was quite warm! Most of the lakes were still frozen over, but still beautiful.

Then we headed for Calgary and spent a couple of days there. We didn't have much time to see the city, but spent an afternoon at the zoo!! (surrounded by little kids on school holidays!) The city was ok but not somewhere I'd want to go back to really.

We flew across to Halifax on Saturday and now have a couple of weeks here in Nova Scotia. Not sure what the plan is yet, but we want to go around the island and up to to Prince Edward Island and Cape Breton Island if we have time. Hope everyone is well. Bye for now!
