Took in a few of the sights around the village yesterday, pretty much more trees and snow, quite nice space to relax away from the crowds. Spent the evening at the GLC bar watching the fire and ice show and having a few bevies...which realy helped my have a good night sleep. Had the best day today, joined tour group and got shown around the mountain. Nice not to think about where to go. Then carved it up in the afternoon...with no falls so happy. More snow on t...

Had a great morning on the slopes today. It had dumped around 40cms of fresh snow last night so lots of powder around. Headed up with a couple of guys from the chalet who knew there way around so could just follw them around. Quite tricky to get the hang of riding this choped up powder so a few falls here and there. Still not seen any sun yet...a little odd...but at least there is plenty of snow. Everything is aching a bit so going to take a rest day tomorrow and...

Great first day, shed loads of snow...well in fact it hasn't stopped snowing all day!
