unfortunately you dont seem to be on skype this morning so I am unable to sing to you! Youll just have to imagine my dulcet tones in your heart.
Ben and dad spent12 hours playing Bens new board game yesterday but at least we are supposed to be heading out today to a National Trust property, probably shugborough.
Hope you have a good day and that you find someone to celebrate with. Love mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Mum
Hiya Debs
Just got back from my data inputting course in Birmingham which was well boring but at least we stopped off and had lunch on the way back.
Ive been in touch with Sally to wish her Happy Birthday in song obviously and she seems to be having a very good day. Toby is really looking after her so shes very happy.
I hope you are able to be in touch on your birthday as that would be good. Ben is arriving home at lunch time on his birthday so I guess that will mean dinner somewhere.
We got your postcard from cambodia today so you didn t beat it home. It all looks lovely.
Cant wait to see you back home now as I feel you ve been out of the country long enough! Miss you and love you lots Mum xxxxxxxxx
Debstar

no idea what i will be doing, prob on the coast. i hadn't realised it was this week until someone looked at my passport and said!!! lol goes out your mind when you're alone. I didn't get any cards last year either!! maybe i'll give myself a belated celebration when i get back! haha
that's brill about college, i'm sure there'll be some very boring bits but hopefully the interesting parts will outweigh that!!
lots of love xxxxxxxx
Student Mum
Hi Debs
Hope that viet nam is going well and that you havent given away too many more dollars to the kids. Cant believe that you are not going to be here for a second Birthday and that this time I dont even have an address to send you a card! Your birthday is of course Easter Day aswell this year so you ll be missing out on big roast dinner. I know that pales into insignificance against the fact that you are in a hot sunny country enjoying yourself (oh well).
I have been accepted onto the basic councelling course at Henley College and went to enrol there yesterday so I am now a student! Wierd isn t it at my time of life going back to college? Hope that I enjoy it more than school.
You ll never guess who has joined Masqueraders so I ll tell you. Scott. Yes thats right Bens friend Scott. Amazing eh? I nearly fell over when I saw him last night. I hope he comes back next week as we really need more men!
Hope to hear from you soon Love mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

College Mum
Hello Debbie

Beach Deb
Hello hello everyone!!! I'm a little sunburnt from the beach and am losing way too many dollars to these children - have some lovely bracletts though!! lol
Thats great news preggers that that tobes made it to the scan, shame they didn't let the mothership in aswell though. So definitely not knowing the sex then?!! At least Wendella is a unisex name as I totally understand how you're dead set on it!! haha
I've booked my bus to Vietnam!!! Friday. Wasn't sure whether to come home, spend a couple of weeks back in Pnom Penh at the orphanages or continue on but decision has now been made. I have upto a month there. Just looked up flights to meet the lude in NYC but waaayyyyyy too expensive and would take like 30 hrs so a little more thinking required there me thinks.
Mum, are you good at table tennis??? lol Glad you're enjoying the volunteering. you doing much I.T? How's that going?

Luc

Table Tennis Mum
hey Debs
Being back in the uk isn t fun at all really. Not enjoying having to get up in the mornings again although it is good to have something to get up for! Im enjoying being back at aaa as a volunteer even though I seem to be spending as much time in the group therapy sessions as i did before! Its good to be there supporting someone else though and it does give a good feeling.
Good luck with the solo part of your travelling and make sure that you take care of yourself. Don t do anything silly (as if)!
Love you lots mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yo Yo Debbie - Oh!
How's things in Cambodia? Another tick in a box for another country hey! Very excited to read more blogs about more recent adventures when you get the chance.
Had 20 week scan yesterday and...it looks even more like an alien! Has a face and everything. It was also being rather uncooperative and remained snuggled in my pelvis on its tummy when the lady wanted it to move around so she could get the pictures! Three more weeks and it will actually be classed as a baby and would receive care should it be born early! Can't believe how fast it's all flying by. Very excited about Toby being home so we can start buying a few bits and pieces. We've been VERY restrained up to now (him more so than me!)
Anyway, don't hurry home but enjoy your travels. See you when I see you lovely lovely sister. Miss you dude
Lots and lots of love xxxxxxxxxx
Debs
Hey mum and Rois,
Take it you're home safely ma dear? It was an awesome 2 weeks for sure - something a bit different eh!!! You n dad best not be secretly practicing your cooking techniques while I'm away!!! lol Vickie's booked her flights home for thursday so I shall be continuing through Cambodia alone. Met a few people doing the same route so may be able to catch upto them.
Rois, can't wait for a big girly catch up and story sharing!!! It's been so long since we last met - 2 years????? Bojangles was funny, I never took my passport out either but think had to show drivers licence.
How's it going in Brum? xxxxxxx

Debbie
I've just had a very entertaining hour or so catching up with your blogs. So great to hear you're getting on so well. We've now been to a few of the same places, so we'll have to have a massive catch up when you're home. I didn't have ID to get into Bojangles in Alice when I was there - I'd locked my passport in a drawer at the reception desk for 'safekeeping'... good thinking hey?!
We had a bit of a party here in Brum on saturday night, you'd have enjoyed it. I've spent this evening trying to scrape up a WHOLE candleful of wax that managed to find its way into the depths of my carpet. joy.
Enjoy Asia, I'm sure you will, keep blogging and having a ball. All my love xxxxxxxxxxxx
