Well what a first day at work. First vehicle I had to drive was a Haglander which is like an arctic snow vehicle on caterpillars. Not only did I have to learn to drive it but also had to take it off road and nearly crashed into a tree! Then had to drive the Super Truck which is an old gritting lorry. That was more like driving a bus so I felt a lot more confident on that one.

Benny starts aswell today so we ll see whats in store for us in a couple of hours.

Hope your Bar job comes through Lucy and hopefully you can sell a shed load of stickers meanwhile.

I was beginning to think that you girlies had given up on this website so it was quite a thrill when I logged on to find that you had posted a message. Mummy daddy and Ben are all fine and dandy here not doing too much at the moment. Not until next week that is when Ben and I both start new jobs YAY!

Just got back from Bens Graduation which was lovely especially as the rain held off so we were able to get some lovely photos down by the lake. You ll be glad to know that our heatwave appears to have ended so we too are now fairly cold again.

We sea kayaked at cape tribulation you can book the day before they have plenty of spaces. you'll need to book ahead for the snorkelling but only a couple of days as this is a quiet time of year.

we're on road trip at the moment with work in a place called wangaratta with a lovely group of boys who've taken us under their wings (apart from matt!!! - lol he's reading over my shoulder right now) sales arnt going to well for us at the moment but hopefully will pick up - who wouldn't want to buy electricity from us!!!!

Can't wait to see you guys - even you toby!! haha

We're very excited as we've just managed to book the last 2 places on the Thorborne Trail on Hinchinbrook Island for the 11th-13th August. They only allow 40 people per day on to it so it's pretty exciting. Very remote with Mangrove swamps and stuff. Loving it!

Also booked our Fraser Island tour - went for the private one at your recommendation. So that's cool too. Do we need to book sea kayaking round the whitsundays or is that pretty simple to just rock up to? And what about snorkelling the great barrier? Imagining there are plenty of companies offering that - can we just rock up?

So you braved the Mossman Gorge aswell then - has to be done but oh my god be careful of frostbite!!! lol We're enjoying Melbourne so far although a cafe did rope me into working 7 hours for no pay!!! grrrr We have got jobs now though starting monday in sales. We weren't sure about the door to door thing but the company we're working for sounds great!!We're going to the Victoria market tomorrow so will check out the pub you recommended.

They have given me a couple of car rental places so Ill give that to Sal as it now seems she ll be there on her own for the first night! Well girls I have just read the latest update about your holiday in Cairns. It looks as though once again you had a real fun time.

I am just about to go to the butchers to get the meat for our bar b que tomorrow at the caravan but thought i d check up on you first. Ben gets his results this afternoon so it could be an interesting trip down to Durdle Door depending on what they are. Fingers crossed for later!

Really looking forward to my trip to Perth now as We have a place to stay although i am still waiting for acknowledgement from the owners. There appears to be plenty of trips to be done and apparently the West of Oz is a lot less crowded than the east so it should be a bit different to what you ve been doing till now.

Anyway have a good flight to Melbourne and I hope you find some work quickly so that we can do lots of fun things when i get there!
