It was good speaking to you on new years eve, i did not think we would be able to get through. It sounded abslutely amazing over there you lucky thing. We had a good New Year going to bed at about 4am. Everyone enjoyed having a chat with you, we played some games which was a good laugh. I started taking down some of the decorations in the dining room this afternoon but i will leave the ones in the lounge until after Kerry's birthday. We are all going to the Hungry Horse for tea so that is something to look forward to on Kerry's birthday. Well that's all for now, look after yourself and continue keeping in touch. Love you and miss you, xxxx

Hiya Lucy & Donna
Just a quick note to wish you both a Happy New Year - sounds like you are still having a fantastic time (apart from the van trouble).
Isn't Christmas in the heat weird? Never did a turkey and the trimmings here - was way too hot.
Hope to see you soon
Love Marie

Hi Lucy and Donna, Gladd to hear you have made it to Sydney, sounds fantastic. Sorry to hear about the van, hope you'll get it sorted soon, I am still very jealous!!!! We have had a lazy weekend, I am getting very used to being off it is lovely, I managed to watch series three of lost in four days which was really nice, but i have got to wait a couple of years before I can see the next series due to us not having Sky, IT IS SOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!
We are getting ready for New Years eve now and buying lots of aspirin, I am going to make a very alcoholic mulled wine for everyone which I am looking forward to. I have now decided to go on a diet as I have ate too much chocolate, but I can't help myself it is sooo chocolately.
Emily has had her hair cut and has now got a fringe and looks gorgeous, but then she always does.
Emilys new phrases are hello how are you today, I am fine thankyou! I want my milk now!!
Mike's company has gone bust, but his store was bought by Bedeck which is fantastic as this company is we think more alot more stable than Ponden Mill. Bedeck is similar to habitat - some of the stuff they sell is really nice so we will wait and see, but it is looking good for the new year.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you when you get to New Zealand as it is one of the places I would really like to visit, as I said before I am very jealous.
Well we better go, have a fantastic time, we reckon you will be getting ready to find your spot for the New Years Eve celebrations in the next few hours.
Love to you and we all miss you

Hi Lucy
I have been keeping up with your travels and just thought I would post a note to say hope that you had a good Christmas and Happy New Year. It sounds like you are having such a good time and seeing loads. I am enjoying having a few days off with nothing much to do, I was so busy before Xmas so now I am chilling out for a few days. Soon we will be back to decorating Richards house, hopefully he will be able to move in in a few weeks time. He got lots of things for his house for Christmas. Anyway have a great New Years Eve and enjoy the rest of your trip. Luv Toni

Hi Luce
I'm glad you arrived safely in Sydney. Hope you dont have any more problems with the van. We are at home to give dad his birthday presents. We are both hanging today, as we went to Reading yesterday to Steve and Andreas house warming party, and we didn't go to bed until 3.30am this morning, so very tired. I bet Sydney is lush! Say hi to Donna for us. I'm glad you are both having fun.
Tina cut Emilys hair on Friday, it looks so cute.
Alesha won Strictly Come Dancing! In Eastenders its all come out about Max and Stacey, it was on christmas Day. Was trying to watch it but Emily and Oliver made it difficult!! He He He
Have a great night tommorow, for your New Years Eve party, if we dont speak to you tommorow, Happy New Year
We love and miss you loads

Mum

Mum
Thanks for the phone call this morning and sorry that you missed Dad, still if you phone tomorrow morniong early then you will catch him tonight. We will ring tomorrow (our time after midnight that is) however it will depend on whether the world and his wife are also trying to do the same thing. Amy and Lewis took your car out on Friday but i forgot and it was a bit of a shock when i saw your car coming towards us and then i realised that they had said they were taking it for a run. Everyone is coming over later to give Dad his presents so i expect they will leave you a message or two. I have got an exciting day today - cleaning! it pales into insignificance against Sydney and all the exciting things you will see there. Anyhow thanks for ringing, it was great to hear from you, love you. Mum xxxx

Mum And Dad
Hi, It was great to hear from you this morning. Time seems to be passing quite quickly and Christmas is almost over. At least you are away from all the stress of it all, lucky devil. It must seem a little strange to be away at this time of year. Dad has gone out for his usual walk and has gone with Sam so at least he has got some company. Have got some good presents and have had a good day, it is weird not having you hear, still i will look forward to seeing you again in February. Take care , love you. Mum and Dad.xxxx
