Hellllooo!!! It's our last day at Alice Springs today - fly to Cairns in just under 3 hrs!! Had a fantastic 2 days tour of Kings Canyon (photo)on day 1 which included a 3 hr walk and swim in a waterhole!! Stayed overnight in Motel which looked like the bar out of Crocodiles Dundee!! Hello!!!! Just arrived in Alice Springs and I can't believe the heat here!!! It's gone 6 in the evening but it's still 30 degrees!! Had a good flight from Perth which we were glad to leave in the end as our hostel wasn't the friendliest ever! Nevermind though cos the people here running this hostel are really nice, friendly and helpful and we've got a pool!!! Had a lazy day today cos Don wasn't well but did manage to do a sightseeing tour of the city and stopped at the Harbour which was lush!! Did the Pinnacles tour yesterday which was fantastic!! Didn't get time to swim in the Indian ocean but did the sandboarding which was a great laugh - couldn't persuade Don to join in though. Met some koalas, Kangaroos, an Emu and a blue tongue liza...

Arrived in Perth safely this afteroon - nine hours ahead of you!!! Have only had a chance to quickly look around tonight but we're on a pinnacles tour tomorrow to do some sand boarding, see some koalas and kangaroos at the national park and to take a dip in the Indian ocean!!!
