Dear Lucynda and Emma,
You sound to be happy and finding everything very exciting even though a bit hesitant in your new country, I thought you were going to be a bit laid back but it seems no rushing about all
over the country on 10 hour journeys in trains. Perhaps you hould have gone to Hanoi Back packer hotel to have met people.
Ihave just been talking to your mother (lucynda's) she seeems fine very happy about passing her skating exam, I tried to talk her into meeting up with you in Tailand.
We are almost through our stay in menorca going back to Madrid two weeks today. The girls are fine we had Lidia's forth birthday last week and they are coming to lunch tomorrow with Antonio as Alicia has to work. It is now carnival in all of spain so everyone is out on the streets doing funny things.
You are both always smiling so I think all is well with you lots of love Carole Pepe and family.

Hi my beauties
Just a quick note hoping you might catch it on the blog before you set off south.
Sorry you are not enjoying where you are at the moment but perhaps things will be better when you move south. We are all fine, last week passed my skating test so am moving on to the next group. Had a problem with my new skates they were not sharp enough so were sliding badly but have left them to be sharpened. Went and had a hair colour this week but it did not take, £64 down the drain. Half term here in England this week, Jane and Mary asked me to go to Tate Modern with them but I had already booked my hair appointment. Well I will say goodbye for now and hope you get this message. Not sure about calling you on your old mobile as you might get a large charge but let me know. Bye for now and love you lots Tina XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Dear Emma and Lucynda
Well by the time you read this you will have said goodbye to all your friends and getting ready to start the next part of your journey I hope you don’t feel too sad. Hope the weekend went well, you will certainly have some amazing memories and I am sure you both feel very proud of your achievements.
I woke up this morning to a very frosty start the weather has turned cold and there is gong to be snow later in the week, or so they say. Went skating yesterday, I think there is an improvement, next Saturday I do my test to go up to the next group. The people are really nice and we all get on well together I hope they all carry on to the next course.
Halls have said that after the leak we had in the hall we have to have floor covering in the bathroom so the man is coming to do that on Tuesday, I am trying to get in the mood to do some decorating but finding it a bit of a struggle. I have some holiday to use up before the end of March so maybe I will get round to it then.
Everybody in fine Tyson and Nanny included, Kaman is coming to cut our hair next week so will keep him up to date on your progress. Anna at the nail shop always wants to hear the latest news. She is into crochet and has made 2 cardigans in the last few weeks, how is yours going? Has it come out of the bag?
Went knitting last week caught up on the latest news, Aron rang on Saturday he is fine I told him I thought we would not see a message on the blog until maybe next week.
Well bye for now girls, love you lots and keep safe Love Tina xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dear lucynda and emma
I have sent you other messages but I don't think they have got through as I cannot see them on your message board, so I am trying again you know I am not very good with this High Tec Living style, but I can see its very effective as letters would take weeks to get to you. We are now in Menorca. the girls are fighting fit as always Paula with hardly any teeth as they keep falling out.
The weather is a bit off raining today, just like your mother talking about the weather. I spoke to her today she says she has to do an exam for her skating so tomorrow she is going over to hemel to practise she seems to be enjoying it.
Keep your chin up soon be with the elephants
Love Carole and Pepe

Hi Lady Lu, Sounds like you are having a great time and i am so glad. If you had stayed here fbs would have driven you over the edge. Kim has now gone on long term sick, stress (no honestly she has). So i am doing both jobs but no extra cash. That environment for the loopy monkey sounds good can you send on the designs only there are a few yr9s that might benefit. How are the bugs and reptiles treating you? Can you still get the old holburn or are you having to experiment? We had a DAY of snow and a day of crazy wind just to break up the routine.
Take care Lu keep having fun thats what life should be about.

Hi Girls
How are you doing? Won’t be long now before you re moving on Vietnam here we come! Great pictures on the blog, you both look a bit muddy. Hope you had a good weekend break last weekend.
Just to confirm everybody is fine, we had a little snow on Wednesday, not very much but the weather has turned colder. Typical Brit talking about the weather.
Still persevering at the skating and have bought a pair of skates on ebay but haven’t got them yet Sally from work is picking them up today as they are near Gatwick Airport. Aron came round last weekend to collect some post, he said he has spoken to you the day before and gave me all the latest news, he is just fine. Missed knitting again Jack not very well so we cancelled, on for next Tuesday must catch up with all the latest news from the knitters.
Got to get on with some work so bye for now, love to you both, keep well and safe

Hello lovely girls, really nice to see your pictures and made aron tell me all about your call with him lucynda. It looks really amazing and a bit sad as well at least you feel like you are doing something to improve the situation. My mum had a hip replacement operation this week and was really poorly afterwards. I have just spent the weekend with her and forced her to play scrabble and walk around abit. I think she is going to be Ok, but when you get older everything takes longer to mend don't it! Also moved offices fro work so having to drive to Hemel every day which is a pain but going alright. Very high tec office with lovely canteen. As Tina said everything the same here weather has been rubbish and so windy the other day some of the fences in my garden fell over! Kids been a bit ill with colds. Disgusted that no personal messages! Only joking, just lovely to get any information and happy to hear everything going well and you settling into life there. I send you both loads oflove and you know we all miss you.Takecaredarlings.Mary xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx x

Hello Ladies
My day off today and had another visit to the dentist so it was a lovely surprise to get your latest journal I did not expect to hear for another week.
You seem to have settled in and getting on with things it all sounds, how can I put it, very different from what you are used to back home, hope you have enough clothes!
Everything is much the same here the weather is mild and raining, it seems like it has been raining for weeks. Missed knitting this week it was changed to Monday as the girls were taking the children to Circus tonight and I forgot. We are all well including Tyson; he is up to his usual tricks smelling and a few mishaps but nothing like you are clearing up! Went skating again on Saturday, progressing and she said I had a good style but I think her eye sight must be pretty poor. Not much of a win on the bonds but we will hang on until you come back to cash them in. Have been scanning the holiday mags but still not come to any decision yet have a new singles book on the way so will see what they have to offer.
Don’t worry about sending individual responses to messages, all your time will be taken up worrying about who to answer next just get out there and enjoy yourselves.
Well bye for now girls, keep safe and love to the animals
All my love Tina XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hello Emma and Lucynda. It was lovely to read your message and see your picture.I hope you are enjoying your work with the animals. It doesn'tsound like things are really easy there, no lounging around and watching T.V. I miss you so very much its terrible.Went out for Janes birthday last night in London which was really good fun, stayed up really late and feel terrible today, never learn! Lots of things happening which if you were here could tell but too weird to go into!
Having some fun with Dave, Aron and the kids now. God can't wait for you to get back, but know that you are having an eye opening and amazing time. What has been the best bit so far?
Lots of love to you,
Mary X

Hi Girls
I like Hippo. Try it with a seasoning of thyme and rosemary served best with yorkshire puddings and a pint of ale.
As they say in malaysia:
Mi hippo va lo más mejor posible con los pudines de yorkshire.
