6th Feb: We got a nice short train to Agonda today for the second time to spend a couple of days. We were basically breaking up the mamouth journey back up to Mumbai. It was nice to be somwhere familiar and we fed up on slouvaki as well :0)

1st MArch: We got a 12 hour train to Kumta arriving at 4am and from there got a taxi to Gokarna beach. we had to walk along the beach as there is no road at about 5am waking up guest houses looking for somwhere to stay. We eventually got a place at about 7am, a bit tiring but great to watch the sun rise! We spent 4 days here at OM beach, there was literally nothing to do but read and sunbath, so thats all we did.....bliss........

28th Feb: From Appelley we went to Cochin for a few days, it was a lovely city that had a huge French colonial influence in all the buildings. There wasn't much to do here as such, more a place to chill out and wander around. We did get proper bread and fish and chips (random!). 22nd Feb: We arrived in Kumily today to visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerela. The drive on the bus was beautiful, this state is so much greener and lush than anwhere else we have visited. The next day for some strage reason we arrrange a hike into the park which started at 5am!!
