How are you all?
It's nearly time to finish work and move on from Manly! Chris gets here next Friday, very exciting! I can't wait to finish work! Christmas and New Year were really good! Spent NY watching the fireworks from the harbour bridge! There will be some very blurred pictures on the site as soon as Chris gets home!!
Oonagh - i have enjoyed my share of the sweeties, thank you very much! I plan to send the rest down to the girls in Melbourne if they ever text me there address! Not long til you get here now, are you all ready?? Got your umbrella packed?
Datateam trio - You shouldn't be called that!! You should all be long gone! Mark, you've got just iver 3 months to get out of there! You said you wouldn't be there when i get back! Sarah, have you booked anything yet? You definitely should, it's so much fun (not when you have shingles though)! All better now though! Jackie, we'll definitely have a Moons night out when i get back! I'm sure it won't have changed one bit even after 8 months! No snogging my brother though!! So what's new at Datateam and with all you guys? We'll have to arrange a night out when i get back (3rd May)!!

I guess you'll be getting ready to go to the fireworks this evening. Still can't get my head around this time thing but the website assures me that it's 1.40pm local time with you! New Year in Sydney Harbour - what a blast! I hope you have a good seat and manage to survive the drunken revellers. It's always a bonus for the less-than-sober when there is someone being Captain Sensible - although not quite so much fun watching! At least you'll be able to remember the experience. We're going to the c*** with Bob and Judith - if they manage to get back from Wales. The weather has been pretty harsh - lots of snow and ice. Ewan is making some plans, but not sure what he is doing yet. He's not working, so he can get up to all sorts! Can't believe the holidays are almost over. Hope the shingles are not so painful now. Thanks for all the Christmas wishes! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! I managed to get shingles over christmas, not the best present i could get! I come to the other side of the world and get shingles - just my luck!!
Oh well, hopefully it'll clear up quickly!
What's everyone doing for New Year? We're going to Sydney Harbour to watch the fireworks, needless to say i won't be drinking! Don't want to make myself more ill. Should be a fun day anyway, we have to get there about 8am to get a seat and will stay all day til the fireworks at 9pm (for the kids) and the ones at midnight!
Anyway, i hope you are all well and have a brilliant new year! Let me know how it goes!
