I was the only one leaving you messages because I'm the most ultimately proudest - see I knew I'd prove it in the end. I'm so glad you're getting better again! I've been having an alright time back here - but I'm beginning to feel thicker than ever! - College is so hard. Anyway...I'm trying to be positive and keep on smiling.
I haven't done much since I last spoke to you. Just been at college for the week. Had a rehearsal on sunday - still not looking brilliant and I've got another one on Sunday!! (Think Mum's a bit gutted no-one's gonna be with her on Mother's Day - but I think we might do something tomorrow instead!)
I went out last night for a friend of Tim's birthday. We went to Xen Noodle Bar for a meal and then to the cinema to watch this really weird film called 'Gran Torino' it was alright though and I had such a laugh.
Anyway...going to get some lunch cos I'm so hungry!!!
I still miss you so much :) not long now and I'm gonna give you the longest fattest hug in the world!! I mean that prepare for a whole day at least!!!
Love you so much,
Chloe xxx

Hi Lu
Haven't forgotten about you, seen you on Facebook so been keeping up with your travels, etc. What a great oportunity for you in Dubi if it goes ahead. Next winter is going to seem so long after the very short one you had last year, so make the most of the heat, sunshine and opportunity. Chris is back at work now after nearly a month off and seems much better. He is looking forward to his 50th though will miss you being there. All your mum's sisters, brother and in-laws will be at your mum's for mother day to make up for you not being there (2nd best will have to do!!!). I have to have a hernia operation in 3 weeks, which I am not looking forward to, but we do have a weeks holiday before that for Chris's birthday which is still a secret for Chris. Off to pick the twins up now.
Take care.
Lots of love Auntie Deb & Uncle Chrisxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hey my bestest friend EVER. I thought I would reply to your facebook message on here due to lack of recent posts. Anyhow... You've shrunk? Then get eating! You had a lovely figure young lady. I on the other hand probably look like a horse since the last time you saw me! HA! Moving on.... I'm glad you're having a fabulous time while i'm stuck here with heaps of work to do!! And each day I get more and more excited about your return!
Look after yourself and thinnk about those steaming mugs of hot chocolate we shall be having upon your return (that or bottles of wine instead... :D
Love and miss you lots XXXXXXXXXXXX
Chloe :)
Bonjour!! :) I'm in the library! - AGAIN! And I don't really have that much work and I really can't be bothered to do the stuff I have so I'm writing to my dearest sister! Whilst consuming and ice cold bottle of coke! :P (I've just been to a fitness class - kinda counteracts it but never mind! )
I hope you're well and having a magnificent time...what've you been doing with yourself recently have spoken to you for agesssss!!!! I'm missing you quite a lot at the moment it's beginning to get a bit quiet (no that it's been quiet I think I make enough noise for the both ous to be truthful!)
I had my first play on Wednesday - not exaggerating, it was so bad! Basically...Hayden forgot loads of his lines then lost his confidence and then no-one knew where the hell we were for the whole play and Dave Hunter gave us a fat lecture at the end and I quote "That's the biggest pile of s*@t I've ever seen!" So all in all - not great! Lol. But we have 4 more so the opportunity to improve.
The music festival thing sounded like great fun, I can imagine you doing all your singing and stff and it makes me even prouder. I haven't heard you sing for ages - you must do it more when you get home.
I'm trying to decide what to do in the summer atm...you got any ideas what you're going to do on the job front? I don't know whether Dan and Nic are going to open again they might do evenings if they don't sell but I'm not sure if I want to do that!
The driving's coming on. I'm going to book my theory test soon and when that's out the way I'm gonna have as few lessons as possible (don't think that's grammatically correct but never mind) and then hopefull pass before you get back but I doubt it.
I hope you're ok. I wish I could have spoken to you the other day but I hear you didn't have much credit and figured I should let you talk to Mum :) everyone's ok...haven't seen Sam for pretty much as long as I haven't seen you! Lol :P gonna try and get up to see him soon.
Love you lots and lots ... stay well and happy :)
Love Chloe :) xxx

Hey sis :)
I'm sorry I haven't replied to your message yet! But I had the most amazing time in Italy! But I'll get to that in a minute!
I'm glad you're still having an amazing time! I got your letter when I got home yesterday and I was so tired it nearly made me cry! When you rang me before it was so good to hear from you, I have been missinmg you so much so it was just a really nice surprise - especially as it got me out of maths!
I had such an amazing week. The journey out there was ridiculously long and slightly draining. 31 hours on a coach was not the highlight of the trip! I shared a room with Amber for the week which was pretty good - really nice to catch up.
The first day was getting back into it really but I had a bit of a bad fall which knocked my confidence a bit and I really hurt both knees. I was with intermediate and it was really good but our instructor was a bit rubbish and so I didn't improve much in the first couple of days. On the first night we went swimming and had to wear swimming hats (so funny!) We had races |Treviglas vs Tretherras which were really fun and then we played volleyball.
In the afternoons in the last hour the intermediates and advanced skiied together which was good cos I got to see Emma which was nice. She's so good at skiing. I tended to do stupide stuff in that hour cos I was trying to be cool...which I figured wasn't too sensible. I got my ski pole caught under my ski and fell flat on my face.
The second night we went bowling and it was hilarious. Paul made me laugh so much. Someone tripped him up as he was about to bowl and he went flying. In fact, he was pretty funny the whole trip. All the teachers were really lovely and you know what ours are like when they have a bit to drink (even when they don't) they were so funny.
Wednesday was more skiing and we went ice skating in the evening. Have some videos of Milders and Miss.Leverton trying to do some ice dancing, as you can imagine not too successful. Rogers asked how you were and...He's engaged!!!!!!!! So is Miss.Leverton!!!
Folgaria where we stayed was beautiful. The town was just idyllic! There we lights hanging everywhere like Truro at Christmas! The shops were a bit bizarre. There was a rabbit in the window of the jewellery shop. And a doughnut shop!! And even more bizarre a Co-op!
On the Thursday we had Princess Day!! Where all the boys have to be nice to the girls for the day! Tim got me breakfast and carried my skis!! Hehe. We had a quiz in the evening and then a sing-song. The other school in the hotel thought we were a music college. Milders was well chuffed.
Friday - fancy dress friday! i didn't have a costume but the teachers got into it once again. Milders, Fallows and Rogers all dressed up as Elvis and had itaians chasing them all day asking for them to have their pictures taken with them. In the evening we had presentations and then went out to this bar.
I loved the last day skiing and just really went for it. I did some jumps and went off piste and didn't hurt myself - even though my knees were still killing. Going home wasn't too bad. I slept a lot of the way cos I was so exhausted!! I can't wait until you get home so you can tell me all your stories!!! It's so weird you not being in your room when you get home. But I know you're having a great time which makes me happy :) xxx
Time's flying by anyway and soon enough you'll be coming home!!! My play is coming up soon, dress rehersal on sunday!!! I'm really nervous now, it's not like anything I have ever done before.
Anyway...I'm in the library but i don't have any work to do cos i did it all before I went away. I hope you're having a lush time! I'll see you soon.
(I AM THE PROUDEST!!!) :):):) xxx
Lots and lots of love

Hi Lu
Great to read that you are having such a brilliant time. What a star you are. We are all so proud of you. Nana and I took Ben, Ellie, Amy (David's daughter) and my grandson Will to Coronation Park on Tuesday to run off some energy after they had been to the cinema to see Dog Hotel. We all enjoyed it. It's been a fine week for half term which makes a change. I spoke to Nana just now and David and his family have gone back today and your Mum and Alan are due back this afternoon. Jean, Duncan and the kids are in Oxford and of course Debbie and Chris are in Lanzarote so (without even mentioning Chloe) everyone seems to be on the move. Our turn next month.
Looking forward to hearing the next instalment from you
Loads of love

Hey hunny pie!
First;y i'd like to say to chloe that i come in joint proudest person spot!! your an inspiration to us all!
I am glad that you are still having an amazing time! chris and i went to ireland this weekend just gone, for rudi's (my housemate) birthday! it was planned in rather a rush, when the snow arrived and the world stopped!! we went to the pub (and got a little tipsy!) and booked tickets! when we woke up (with hangovers) and realised what we had done! there was nothing we could do!!lol!! dont get me wrong it was brilliant! - but have now got an ear infection!! boo!
Sorry I haven't written in a while! I've been major busy - I know that is not an excuse but it's true! I'm going away on Saturday! Yay! I'm all packed and ready to go! I know it might seem a bit early but grease got postponed last week - COS OF THE SNOW!! Haha the one time you go away! So I'm going to that tonight. Then Dad, Jane, Tim and I are going to see Bolt tomorrow and then on Friday I'm going to Tim's becaue Mum and Alan are going to see Dave and Delphine! :) It's so exciting, I'm going skiing again! I'm also piled under with work that I'm doing in the library this morning - like now :s!
Anyway...sounds like you're having an awesome time still. Mum sent you some books today - cos you're a geek and read all the time, I heard you'd run out. I'm joking about the geek thing by the way!
College is a bit blah atm. The lecturers seem to think it's fun to set us massive essays and huge homeworks for the holiday - since when was that fun?! Didn't think so!! I've been working in all of my spare time!
I hope you're really well and healthy. I assume cos we haven't heard from you, you're uber busy and having an amazing time - that's a good thing!!
I love you lots and lots can't wait to see all your pictures and have a massive hug. I can't believe it's nearly two months already, it's gone so fast!!
I'd better go and do my work!
Lots of love as always - :) keep smiling...I'm still ultimately the proudest person that's writing on here!! hehe :D

Christine (Padstow)
Hi Lucy,
It was great to read all about what you are doing in Tanzania. Well done , what wonderful memories you are gathering for the future. See you back in Padstow before you know it. Enjoy the sun, we have a covering of snow here and it is -4 degrees this evening (Tues 3rd Feb) and more snow is forcast for tomorrow. Everything has ground to a holt (as per usual) so the children are delighted that they don't have school.
Take care, Lucy. Love Chris & John Martyn
