this is part of one of the marching bands that walk around Granada, Nicaragua from 5am till 7am every morning in december, they have a full brass section, about 40 people dressed in white banging drums, baton twirlers, lots of children with explosives, and of course a virgin mary either mounted on the back of a truck or carried by children hurling explosives at passers by. this photo was taken from my hotel room window you can´t imagine the racket and the pain it causes at 6am after a heavy night on the local rum. it sounds like hell.
