Hey Missy Moo!!!!! I'm back!! and it sucks!! The weather is shot and nothings changed!!! I don't go back to work till 21st Jan so at least thats one good thing! I sound depressed don't I!?!? Holiday Blues.........don't they suck!!!! Had the best time ever!!! We teavvelled the whole of the west coast, which was amazing! It was really weird doing the things that you had already done and knowing that you'd been there just weeks before! Christmas wasn't the same as being in the UK, apart from the obvious I didn't feel the christmas spirit! We spent xmas eve on Cottoslow beach with fish and chips and a few beers watching the sunset which was lovely and new yrs eve we were at Margrat River in a house right on the beach.....hoewever we were in bed by 12.20am!! I must be getting old!! I'm really pleased that you are having the best time!! I sent you a xmas card but not sure which one of the addresses I sent it to so check both if you can!!! Ahh thanks both Hazel and Hannah for actually logging on on Christmas Day!! Sounds like your all having a great time - its Boxing Day evening now, about 7am your time I guess and you'll all be getting up to start it all over again very shortly!! Boxing Day here has been a bit of a non-event but theres some good films on this evening and Im going to have a few glasses of wine! Funny you have written you miss Christmas eve drinks because i missed you there not abusing Charlene!!! Have been to Spencers Mum's this morning to see them all. Sad for them being the first Christmas without Francis, but Carol seemed to be bearing up and there was lots of laughing going on. At my mums now opened the presents and just waiting for dinner, but its the usual it will be at half past two. The wine has been opened so im thinking near half three is more like it. Dear Lucy, I am thinking about you over the Christmas period.I remember you spent many Christmases with me & the rest of us, & the first one you were still a boarder at Edghill,aged 17!?! Sohere you are, galavanting around the world--well done, mate! today is Christmas Day- yesterday I went to the Seagate pub, to hear a group called "Dambuskers" Then I went to midnight mass- one of many services at church--I am now a confirmed christian! Becky & Steve are staying with me & Chris & Kat are here now, all getting ready to go to Pete & Maureen's for the meal. Chris tells me you texted him, & it's actually Boxing day where you are. Merry Christmas everyone - hope your all getting into the festive spirit! I'm off to Christchurch tomoro. Because Christmas day is on Monday I need to get to the post office on Friday to collect anything as thats the last opening day - I know Jen and Em's things might not be there but never mind if not I will get them afterwards and get two Christmasses if it comes to it! Will surely get on the internet before Monday anyway but thought I'd wish eevryone a lovely time anyway just in case. Its funny that the thing I'm most sad about missing is Christmas Eve drinks - starting in the Kings with Dad and Matt and his family in the afternoon and getting more and more trolleyed till late evening when I stagger home to be very hungover on Christmas morning :) oh well double the party next year I say!!
