We booked on to a Seaway Kayak and Chill Out Tour in a place called Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast. We went for a Kayak across to an island where we then went for an hours Bush Walk, we returned to the Kayaks and went across to some local coral where we jumped out and went for a snorkel - visability wasn't the best, but it was fun and saw a few fish knocking about! The worst night ever! I'll set the scene.... We pull into a free camp near Murwillumbah and Stuart is inside the camper making us a nice meal (pasta and soup, again!) - Stuart shouts out to me that tea is ready, so we are both sat inside the campervan and start to eat our tea... I look up and behind one of the wood panels, I can see three long thick black legs.... "Stuart, what's that?" "THAT'S THE BIGGEST SPIDER I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!" We both jump to the back...

YAY! We are at Australia Zoo!!!!!!!!!!! We arrive at Australia Zoo and it's massive! We had booked online so we get to fast track through the queues... we head straight over to the Alligators and one of them is named Daisy and she is quite aggresive haha! We head over to the Kangaroo enclosure where you can feed the Kangaroos, they're really cute. Stuart goes to stroke one of them on the belly and it tries to right hook him!!!! Best day ever!! Picked up at 8am by a shuttle bus, made our way to the marina and hopped on board the Quick Cat II - breakfast was served and coffee was free (happy days!!!!) Sailed an hour or two out to the bay, saw some dolphins on our travels too. We came across a Mother whale and a very energetic calf which performed lots of breaches and Fin Slaps for us! Amazing. Found a Caravan Park with free WiFi woo!!! Turned up and it's nice, full of palm trees and the owners Julia and Brian are lovely. Took Julia & Brian's dog Navi down to the beach for a walk, the weather is super hot!! Had a couple of chill days and skyped our families. Julia & Brian cooked our tea on the last night (homemade burgers) - such nice people!
