Well, I(Kayla) was going to start by saying omg but I have a feeling that might be the start to all of the blogs... sooo...
We leave tomorrow evening and I'm soooo nervous(cuz we're going to die in the plane...haha.)
I think it would be interesting to see what our packing list is as sort of an experimental blog to see if this is easy to use or not.
Here's what I'm bringing:
- 1 pair jeans
- 1 pair other pants (I'll probably wear these the most, super comfy)
- 1 skirt
- 1 pair of leggings for extra warmth (jic)
- 1 light over shirt
- 3 short sleeve shirts (I might take one out...)
- 3 long sleeved shirts
- 3 pair socks
- 1 lightish sweatshirt
- 1 light, water resistant jacket
- unmentionables haha
- flip flops
- 1 super compact microfiber towel
- lots of little compact towels
- 2 small bottles of wilderness wash
- 1 1L water bottle
- 1 toothbrush with built in toothpaste (looks pretty neat)
- deodorant
- 4 different locks
- small first aid kit
- extra contacts
- DK Eyewitness Europe travel book (and probably another, not sure which)
- maps, reservations
- camera, camcorder (and lots of batteries)
- plug adapter
- inflatable pillow
- the important stuff (passport, id, money, bank card, rail tickets)
- money belt
And I think that is it... or at least what is in my view haha. I'm not sure what Brian is bringing either really haha.

Danielle Hayden Looks like fun! I'm so excited and jealous at the same time. Have fun, be safe, and make sure they tracking chips for both of you are working lol! I will be mobile and I will see you both when you come back in a few months.

Lora Jean Gray Kevin didn't ask the fun stuff...so I will!! How many times did you re-read Sky Mall on the flight? Who was your favorite flight attendant? What was the worst piece of airline food? Did either of you toss your cookies mid-air? Love you guys-have fun and be safe!!!!
Kayla I really only skimmed through the Sky Mall thing because I was too worried about dying so I couldn't sit still or anything. My favorite one was actually on the way to Philly because I looked like a goof trying to figure out where to put our stuff and he came over and helped. I liked all the food, I was really surprised. Except the bbq sauce on my chicken tasted like a weird kind of sauce... haha. No throw up thank goodness! Brian might go on after me haha. Yay, Danielle! I need your address! Thank you Mrs. McLean!
Brian I brought pretty much the same stuff. 5 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, binoculars, pillow, toiletries, journal, 3 pairs of socks, flip flops, jacket, etc.
