Sorry I have not written lately, but as you know I have been sunning myself in the Caribbean!! Martinique was amazing...definitely one of the best holidays I have ever had. Although, it probably still doesn't compare to your trip! I tried to get in as many extreme experiences as possible...tree-climbing, mountain-climbing, kayaking and snorkelling being just a few!
To be honest I was a bit miffed when these were all outdone by your 45km bike ride! I'm impressed! As Mike said, there do seem to be a lot of messages from the Moomins, so I will endeavour to up the frequency of sisterly messages from now on. Always up for a challenge!
I have no idea where you are at the moment, but I'll catch up over email. Alison, George, Erik and Julia all send their love!
Lots of love Sar xxxxxxxxx

Hi - thanks for the phone call last week - it was great to hear your voice and be able to ask all the questions which crop up whilst I'm looking at all the photos - I hope you are keeping your travel log up to date because I don't know how you can remember what you did and saw from day to day - it seems to be so varied. I think I could do the beaches and the culture bit, but definitely not the extreme activities. Sarah had a great time in Martinique and I am sure will be emailing you with the details !. Had two lots of 'Loughborough University' visitors this weekend, so it was quite busy. Have booked up with Angela and Roger to go to a Status Quo concert down in Bournemouth just before Christmas. I won't mention life here - it is definitely boring and uneventful compared with your exploits. Continue to enjoy it all and keep the pics and postcards coming. Love mum and dad xxxxx

Well....It looks like there's a competition for the longest messeage anybody can post on you site - early leader is woody with a monsterous effort.... No suprise there then the amount of work he does...! Actually Im watching him at the moment, at his factory, waiting to give him a lift to the gym (his car still in need of some attention), and I must say he looks quite busy - but years of perfecting that look is an expertiese in itself...!
I never realised you guys were so popular - although for frequency of messages it looks like the mothers are unbeatable - bless...!
I met the C.O. of STA Travel this week at work - Wont tell you why - might scare you. I kicked myself when I left though - should have organised some sort of discount for Stu, Woody & I - You know me, not one to abuse my position whilst at work - Yeah right..!
Sounds like the Inca trail close now.... make sure you take hundreds of picture's.... But also take a tip from Terry. Pictures never do a place like that any justice, so find a spot with amazing views, and sit there for ten minutes in silence on your own a take it all in - you'll never forget that, whatever happens to the pictuires. Anyway wiping the tears away from my eyes as we speak (all a bit deep for a monday afternoon).
Paitently anticipating your next instalment....! xxx

Your latest pics are great, I hope you bought one of those lovely ladies hats - you know how I have a thing about hats. how old is the mud city?I didnt like the look of the waterfall, especially coming down. The match yesterday was OK 2nd half, Kuqi's celebration looked painful (he leaps in air and does a bellyflop dive on grass).
We won award for "best club match of the week" - for when we beat Man U - so that's just a bonus! Beautiful day here, enjoy yourselves
love Mumxxx

Julies - just to add to the comment Woody put, forget photo's of the women in bikini's... think of us female friends stuck in cold England with just the young sexy Woody ( I got a discount in rent to say that! ), mike and stu ( AKA Seabiscuit ) entertain us! Photo's of sexy men is what we want!! Semi naked scrumptious men!
Looks like your having a awesome time, wicked web site and really cool to keep up with your adventures.....
Keep well and take care

Glad to hear that you are doing amazing stuff. We've got two new staff on the front! That's about it where news is concerned. Tom and I recently got back from mountain biking in Snodonia, not quite the same I guess but boy am I glad those brakes work, even if my fingers didn't at the bottom of Coed Brennin.
Mick is on holiday yet again... bah, humbug! Don't tell him that he's been missed. Angie doing great, keep those messages coming.

Happy wedding anni to your Mum & Dad - it's good to know it is more years than your age! Looks as if you have found a cure for boredom but what will ordinary life seem like? I suspect you will be hooked on this travel lark by now and that work will simply be an interruption between jaunts which is great 'cos then I'll be able to see more pictures from my armchair while still enjoying a cool English bitter.
Mum & Dad send their love, of course, as does Dee.
Off now to drink a galss of champers. You can guess why but we'll toast you as well.
Hope the bruises settle down quickly.

Hi - sounds like you are having an amazing time - makes life back here seem rather dull - although I'm not sure about the extreme mountain biking!! As for swimming in the Amazon I'm not at all jealous ........
Looking forward to hearing all about your next adventures - I think I need to start planning my next challenge!
