Was reading Ruth's message and laughing about paul howard being so drunk. He was absolutely hammered! And she was right about that annoying girl too.. felt like punching her myself! Went up to see Danny and Rachel at the pub last thurs. Ben, Phil and Danny were having races round he wacky warehouse with Ashleigh. Of course, she thrashed them all!! But, god they were competetive. Don't know about Ben, but Phill had bad friction burns all over his feet the next day. Anyway take care hun and see you in a few weeks. xx

Hello Louise,it's Ruth, Paul Howard's much better looking other half. Saw Ben last night at Ray and Fay's wedding and he gave me a link to your site. Looks like you're having a wicked time. Will have to pick your brains cos we're going to San Fran, LA, Hawaii and Vegas on our honeymoon and you can tell us what's hot and not. The wedding was really lovely, but true to form Paul was s***faced to the max. I was driving and got a bit concerned when he had finished a bottle of Southern Comfort (smuggled in a Tesco bag...at £4 a pint who wouldn't!) and had a pint of Bailey's in his hand. He was on the floor a few times and was kissing everyone on the lips..even the lads. And I'm marrying him! Theres' still time to escape. There was this annoying girl there who was one of those "I'm a mate with all the lads types...know them all better than you etc", I can't type her name in case she reads this, but she was well annoying me and Ben agreed that you would have wanted to punch her lights out too. Glad I'm not the only one! Anyway, I know ur home soon and I said to Ben we'll have to get together b4 the wedding...cos I'll have to behave then and it won't look good with a white dress and a pint. Take care and enjoy the last leg of ur trip. You're not mising owt here (but Ben's missing you)..it's pissing it down. Ruth xx

Good mornig Louise it is Thursday morning 27th. April
07-50am.the weather believe it or not is fine dry and cool . Mum having left at 07-15 has just rung to give me yet another job to do looking where the deeds of the house are more of that later. On Monday this week the plumbers arrived to start the installation of the new bathroom. The work should take about a week we hope. All the new bits ready to go in are all over the place, the back bedroom, the lounge and the garage. Lous. motor is sitting on the drive,of course still being looked after by our Bill who runs the engine every Monday morning
I have had almost a week of banging sawing and drilling and the mess all over the place, wish I was with you.I keep looking at the little flashing red dot on your web site it must be wonderful to be out there.
The plumber doing the work is Barry Whitehead and is son Andrew don,t know whether you knew his son or not from your school days,Ailsa tells me her Tom knows him.
Yesterday they installed mothers special real jacussi bath she can,t wait to try it.
Went to the Docs yesterday for my check up everything is fine, feeling much better now the spring is upon us although they say it has been the coldest for some years so much for global warning Ha Ha Ha.
Getting back to the deeds we are not selling up just yet.We went to see the Solicitor(do you remember david next door} well we saw his dad "pickles"The idea was to up date our Wills and seek advice on what to do concering all the Government changes on inheritance tax, very complicated it seems. What we should do for the best is to sell the house buy something smaller pocket the cash and spend it.As I keep saying to mum Spain looks good!!!!
Only wishful thinking.
Gemma and Mark are still plodding on with the wedding arrangements as I am sure she is keeping you informed.
Ailsa has had couple of trips home and Mum has been helping her with her work, she should be finishing for the year soon.
The plumbers have just arrived and I asked Andrew if he remembered you.He said he did but you wouldn,t remember him.He recalls you being a good sprinter. How about that.!!!
Well Lou. all the news for now Keep having a great time Mum tells me you leave for the States this Sunday, the last leg of your travels, enjoy it.Miss you lots, not heard from Ben for a bit Mum has emailed him to see how he is
Allour love Mum and me xxx

Hi Louise it was lovely to hear from you this morning. new Zealand sounds wonderful - perhaps you will be able to show us round one day! it's quite nice here today but rain is threatened for Tuesday. Hopefully we will be getting our new bathroom in this week. Ailsa should be finishing off her work for uni today but had a night out (or should I say morning!) with Jo in Leeds so I don't expect much will get done today. did I tell you that I had my nails done? gel ones - just practicing for August. They look quite nice and I am just getting used to them. take care of yourself and get some messages on here! love and miss you mum and dad x x

Hi Lou,
Finally got time to have a browse on your travel web-site. Looks great. Glad you're having a great time.
Things busy as usual here. Latest news is that Pat and I are having a baby! - That's actually the real reason I wasn't drinking at the Xmas do! Due August 10th so will be a Leo like you. Oh, and we know it's a little girl. Keeping possible names secret for now as everyone's got an opinion!
So things are shaking up a bit at the deli. Luckily enough, Vic's staying on and Fionn's coming back to hold the fort whilst I'm spending my time on maternity leave making a mess of other people's deli's!! - Does Summerfield Handforth have a cafe?? Anyway, we'll catch up when you're back. Keep having a wonderful time and have a very safe journey home.
Remind Ben where to come for his lamb pies if he's comfort eating whilst you're away,
Love Dx

Good morning Louise guess who. Wednesday 19th.of April your message received this morning great, cheered me up no end making the weather here bearable, pouring with rain on the conservatory roof temperature a magnificent 58 degrees. How about the Glacier trip must have been awsome good for you.
Mum and I went to York last Tuesday to Middle thorpe hall. Fab, Hotel magnificent, built in 1690 all the great oil paintings on the walls in the main hall, men with long curly hair women in period costumes all staring down at you, felt like royalty. We had our own suite of rooms even a kitchen. On wednesday had a look around the 20 acre gardens saw a magnificent carpet of purple flowers met the gardener and asked him what they were called "China Doxa" would you believe, asked us would we like some he gave us a pot of them. Split the pot with Gemma, planted ours on Sunday think they been eaten by some bug or other, such as life. After Middlethorpe moved on to Ravens Hall by the sea at Ravenscar, another great hotel the dining room had a magnificent panaramic view over Robins Hoods Bay,great food.
On the Saturday night stayed with Mark and Gemma they took us to the Sidings Restaurant which is the place they have booked for the second wedding bash in October. It consists of old railway coaches along side the main rail line London to the North East.Apparantly it is used by trainspotters who sit there all day noting the trains passing, great fun.Great food. The trains were thundering passed every 30 min.How the spotters list them God only knows they were so fast !!!
On Sunday met Ben who came to York to stay with Gemma and Mark.He looks good but says he is missing you lots. On Monday received a great big parcel from Oz. with all sorts of goodies for all the family. What a lovely surprise. Thanks for my cap will be great to use it and show off to everybody who sent it and where it came from. You wont believe this it was so cold on the East coast that I had to wear my "woolly hat".Pauline said I looked a b***** in it, so bad she would walk behind me when we out.A different story now hey!!! It will be great fun giving all those lovely gifts outthe presses.out thanks once again Loo.
All for now enjoy the Southern Island in New Zealand
