Lyn Pin, Glad you are getting over that epic journey on the plane.Watch out for that sis in law! Make sure she tells you how to get up to Cape reinga right at top of the north island - fantastic!!! and do not miss Waitangi whatever you do - you will see the long boats there and Leigh will help you with dates around Waitangi day when the Maoris take all the canoes out in the bay in full war dress.We stayed there at Xmas 2008 - loved it. Taupo and Rotorua where all the hot geysers are.dont get the ferry from the south to the north island unless you have real good sea legs!! I was speuchling!! ha ha. chat soon. xx

I hope you are able to read this in the departure lounge before take off. From what I have heard and seen recently Dad certainly has been enjoying a feast. I will definately wait until you return. We visited New Zealand in the late 90's so am looking forward to reading and hearing reports of your trip.
