Day 146 Our ferry to the South Island was to depart at 9:30am so after some final packing we jumped into a taxi. The ferry was bigger than I expected, it had three floors, a bar, a cafe and viewing decks. We picked a seat upstairs and bought a coffee as we enjoyed the views.
