Dinner on Tamkharit; much couscous, many meats, the whole family (plus friends) around one giant bowl. When everyone's finished with the meat, the bones and most of the sauce are removed, then milk (the kind that comes out of the packet as a powder) is poured on top of the leftover couscous. Thiakry (couscous and milk) is a treat for the Senegalese. Personally, not my favourite.
