Its been a busy old time since my last entry. Fittings went really well and I was able to get everything to the point where all I have left to do are the fastenings and finishings on most costumes. Spent last week making a coat and took most of Saturday off to chill, regroup and sort out my shoulder. Had a marvellous massage which sorted me right out. Almost a week after I kicked off my costume marathon. All going well so far. My thimble twitching fingers have been working hard taking measurements, adapting patterns, buying and cutting out all sorts of fabric as well as doing the usual paper work that comes with these things. The ball is rolling on the Gladstone Epic! We kicked off the start of 'Boomtown' with a chilled day, for me at least. Production meeting and that was about it. Did a bit of food shopping etc. Tuesday was a little busier. Went on a fabric hunt and sus out what the area had in the way of fabric shops and op shops ready for costuming. First night done. Will take a while to get used to. A few teething problems with the can atm but am sure they'll get sorted ASAP. Had production meeting and site induction today. Have seen my work home for the next few weeks and sorting the last bits of that out soon. Costume meeting this arvo and then chill a bit of the rest if the day.
