After a super cool ride through Nebo pass up 9,000 feet. Grant sees what he perceives as short cut to next pass via this valley called Water Hall road. Road started great ruts and gravel but doable. Then 5km in Grant in the lead starts going sideways on his bike in super slick clay. He crashed. No damage. I continued to climb hill go sideways and I crash. We try and turn around then the rain came. We crashed another 20 times each. Took 4 hours to go half a mile. Then it got dark and we bailed. Spent night on side of road. We had to wait 4 hours next day for road to dry. My fingers are raw from pulling clay off tire. My front tire was so bad it stopped turning.

Dave That sounds awesome. That's why I fly ha ha. Nice looking camp site at halls crossing. Must see a lot of stars there at night.
