To set the scene, our Maui hostel was in the middle of nowhere so if you didn't go on the hostel day trip you were BORED for ther day and our triple room was miniscule although it did give us some much needed time to discuss some of our cohabitors and their ways such as Dan who was about 50 and carried the same packet of beef jerky in his back pocket for a week, or the crazy Brazillian man who swiped his flip flop at a cucaracha calling it the epitomy of god's ugliness or there was Karen who made me buy her a frooot smooothie coz I was in the queue already.
