Thanks so much for the lovely bag u sent me for my birthday- I got it this morning! Have decided to take it to Ecuador so I have a nice bag to take round with me, so I look like sophisticated teacher when arriving in mornings rather than sweaty, disarrayed student backpacker with rucksack... whether or not the former look can be acheived with just a bag has yet to be proved...

THanks for telling me about this journal- I shall be checking with regularity. I guess u're still on the plane now- poor u, I've been there with flying to Aus... Still, will b worth it wen u get there!!! Have OOODLES of fun etc. + keep that Bella under wraps (or lock + chain...)
