Hi girls, hope your having fun. Thought I would just let you know Lissie that we are trying to sort out your funding application (got until the end of April so should be ok).
See your blogs have slowed up a bit, so you must be having just a bit too much fun at the carnival.
Anyway as always just be careful and have a great time.
All my love

Hi girls - nothing up for the last few days, and you've vertainly got a story to tell!
Hope all is well and you're enjoying Carnival - has it made a big difference not going to the sambadrome? Guess there are plenty of street parties still going on.
Hope you can post up some more photos soon.
Take care.

Hi girls - the photos are fantastic - so jealous - suppose we could take that mountain trip in Fuerte again and post some pics of those sheer mountain drops from the roadsie - needless to say I won't be driving, taking the pics, or even on the journey!
Can't believe you've been gone for over a week now - the five months will just fly by, so make sure you make the most of it - but TAKE CARE in those bars. Especially when cheese is about! The words you need are "sem queijo" - write it down if you can't say it!
Keep on partying ...
Lots of love and hugs

Hiya guys,
What a fabulous place , you will never want to leave it!!! Dad and I are getting the backpacks loaded up as we speak (not).
Things seem to be going really well, glad that you are beer girls these days - just watch the beer bellies, not a good look with a bikini!!
Think Nanny would love the statue of Christ, must be unimaginably brilliant. Nice to see that you are following your heritage and finding the Irish pubs.
Take care for now - love to you both
A big kiss xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thought I'd better identify myself in the name - I read Lissie's dad's blog and thought it was David's ... I was might impressed he'd cranked the computer up, yet alone found out how to respond to a blog! It was when I got to the bit about Lis' brother's that I realised I'd overestimated Dad's abilities! Hope the rain has stopped and you're out getting some rays. And don't forget Audrey's advice about getting a job ...! Missing you loads. Love Mum xxx
Mum
Hi girls,
Seem like you are having a ball- enjoy every minute. Were all rained in here, and snow again the other night. Everyone sends their love - nanny has been asking to see ur blogg so she is getting very modern, (had to explain the term first!!!) Great to know that you have made buds already and the hostel seems to know just how to rip you off. Don't forget you can always get a JOB if the cash runs out
Loads and loads of love - Here's a big kissXXXX Love you girlie

Dad
Great to hear you are enjoying yourelves in the sun, whilst we are still getting snowed on. Sounds as if you are having a lovely time though. I just want to know why you can walk 15,000 metres whatever, to the forest whereas I used to have to give you a lift if you were going to dartford because it was to far to walk. Adam & Nick by the way deny all knowledge of being at the footie, and tell me they have never had a statue of god on their heads either. Anyway hope you are both ok, still talking, still solvent and losing the reddness. Love you lots. Dad xxxxxxxxxxxxx (or the strange bloke from lissies house if you're reading this Alex).
