we've been in Arambol for just over a week now....and this the best place so far. we know quite a few people here now, but we still like to flitter from person to person rather than stick in a group..it keeps it interesting! we've found the most amazing beach hidden around the cliffs...it has a sweet water lagoon on one side with a backdrop of lush green hills and the sea on the other...it's beautiful..the water's soooo hot too! we've been there a coup...

we're In Arambol now, Still in Goa just a little further south. We've heard that Palolem is having some goverment trouble, whereby they are knocking down the whole of beach front...hotels/bars etc. so There's no point in us going there as the only hotels will be in town and very expensive, and also the beach front will be construction site. Palolem is the best beach in Goa so we're really gutted! Anyhow Arambol has a lovely beach too..we're just waiting fo...

We arrived In Anjuna, Goa just over a week and half ago..it was 8am and raining like mad..we had been on the bumpiest 12 hours bus journey and our rucksacks felt like we had boulders in them....in all we felt crap! and our first thoughts of anjuna were..'where's the beach??' however after a cold shower (no such thing as hot shower!!) and e few zzzz's later we felt a bit better about things. as with all things in India.. We had a monster journey from jaipur to Mumbai on the sleeper train... 18 hours!!! it actually wasn't too bad as we were asleep most of the wa.. that's if you ignore the cockroaches! Decided that we didn't want to stay in mumbai and would get the first available train to Goa...we actually ended up getting a sleeper bus which was 12 hours long! but first we cruised mumbai but to be honest we we're just killing time until we caught our bus..so we spent a ...

Jaipur aka "the pink city" was a 5 hour drive along the dirty bumpy roads...so as you can imagine we were feeling quite rough when we arrived so we stocked up on some zzzz's then visited the amber fort, which was ok but after a while forts are just...forts!! got harrassed a little more, and lots of men were asking to have there pictures taken with us...how strange! also we've noticed that all the men hold hands and put the arms around each other in public... it's...
